[ They'd ditched just after their first class. It was now almost lunch time, and so far, they hadn't done much of anything but roam around town and be assholes. This skipping class thing was starting to become a ritual. More often than not, they didn't make it through the entire school day without cutting out early to find something more amusing to do.

Not that he's complaining. It was fun, to say the least.

So, with his hands shoved in his pockets, he walks side-by-side with Bel, frowning at all the flowers that had mysteriously sprouted overnight. ]

We should do somethin'. [ Clearly. ] Like... Iunno. Somethin'. [ He's obviously speaking in high levels of intelligence today. ]

[ Thinking so much he doesn't notice that Niou's said something at first.

Then, glances his way. ] Sure.

[ Still staring at the sky. If he trips, act like you don't notice. ]

'Kay, so. There's this chick. Her name's Yukiko. [ Really glad he never told Bel his girl persona name. ] She's really fuckin' pretty, right? Brown hair, gold eyes, loves the color red. [ Maybe Bel remembers that's how Niou looked at Homecoming. ] She knows this guy. This really hot guy, that she met one day. [ A pause. ] In the park. She met him in the park. And, as time passed, she realized she really likes hangin' out with him. Likes skippin' school and just chillin' with him, yanno?

Then, one day, she realized something. She realized that she really fuckin' likes him. Like, like likes him. Might even be in that one L word with him. But she's scared. Scared of being rejected and fuckin' over a friendship. So she hasn't told him yet.

[ Then, finally, he drops his gaze from the sky and down to the ground. ] She feels kind of pathetic for it, too.

[ Don't underestimate a genius' memory, Niou.

And he sort of gets it. He's done such things himself--but that hadn't had anything to do with feelings or anything.

And he's feeling even shier now. Glances at Niou again through his bangs, and blushes.

And tries to find something to say that doesn't sound completely stupid. ]

...Maybe she doesn't need to feel pathetic. [ See, he can be subtle too. Just hoping Niou gets what he means by that. ]

[ Well it's not as if his story was really fucking obvious or anything. Sanada's stupid pet rock could've figured it out.

Hell, Akaya probably could've figured it out, and he's stupider than the rock.

He stares at the ground for a really long moment. Because he gets it. He understands. But he's not sure how to respond. Finally, He glances up to look at Bel. ]

Maybe she doesn't. But maybe she's still scared, and needs a little bit of reassurance.

[ Poor rock, being compared to Akaya's brain capacity.

And Bel doesn't know how to respond to that. Reassurance? Not his thing. It takes him a while, but in the end decides what to do.

So he grips Niou by the neck and tugs him down (not very roughly, so it shouldn't hurt even though it's sudden) and kiss him. Is that good enough? Because up until now it's been Niou who's initiated all kisses. But if he doesn't know what words to use, there's only action left. ]

[ Yeah, we all feel for the rock.

Oh, yeah, no, that's plenty of reassurance.

He makes a soft noise of surprise. He should've seen that coming, and he didn't. But then he smiles against Bel's lips, and places his hands on Bel's neck. And he's pretty sure his heart is beating so god damn loud that people in his own world can hear it. ]

oops, forgot to reply to that up there. ^^; Then you can throw sandwich with it!

[ Never mind that they're in the middle of the street, Bel wraps his arms around Niou's neck. Won't be able to straighten your back now.

Can you hear Bel's heart doing the same, Niou? ]

It's fine! XD I think I still have it... it might be under my bed. XD

[ Oh, street? What street? Niou's completely forgotten that they're in public.

He can just barely hear it over his own.

He slides one arm down to Bel's waist and pulls him closer. ]

Valuable stone, that. XD

[ And Niou's making a damn good job making Bel forget that too.

The closer the better. It's feeling really good being this close to him after all. ]

[ Oh, Niou's goal is to make Bel forget everything but him eventually.

When he has to pull back and breath, his hands stay on Bel's waist, and he just looks at him.

Then, speaking softly. ] I think... she's not quite so scared anymore.

[ That's a great goal.

Bel giggles and gives him a smile. ] Tell her that's great.

[ The best goal.

Niou's kind of smiling like an idiot in love because, well, that's what he is. ] She also kind of feels like a fairytail princess or some gay shit. [ He takes Bel's hand in his and interlaces their fingers before continuing towards the ice cream shop. ]

[ That's okay, since Bel's doing the same. ] A gay fairytale princess then? [ What has this love done to your brain cells, Bel? ]

Yeah, sounds about right. [ His smile widens into a grin. ] And now she has a gay fairytale Prince Charming.

Gotta be a very charming prince for such a pretty princess then.

[mathisradical]

[ Niou very quickly turns his head away, because yep blushing. ]

[princecreepshow]

[ Too bad, Bel saw it -- and it makes him feel sort of bubbly-happy. ]

That's cute~

[ Shaking his head and trying to turn it farther away. ]

No. Nope, no, no, nope, no, hell no. [ Again, Niou Masaharu does not blush. It's just... a sunburn. Yeah, that's right, a sunburn. ]

[ Bel's giggling again, and kisses one of the red cheeks. ]

Hell yes.

Hell no.

[ Then he turns his back to Bel and starts walking sideways. Clearly, he has the best solutions. ]

[ Not gonna work, Niou. Cuz Bel just jumps him, latching onto his back. Don't worry Niou's Bel's really lightweight, you won't fall over.

And he's quick to give Niou's cheek another kiss. ]

[mathisradical]

[ Niou almost staggers, and his arms wrap around Bel's legs automatically to keep him from sliding down. ]

I said I was your princess, not your fucking horse.

[ But this is okay, because now Bel can't really see his face! ]

Niou's Bel's? Ooops. XD

You're better than a horse.

[ He snuggles his face into Niou's neck and the mess of hair. ]

[ And even though Bel can't really see it, Niou's smiling as he continues down the street. ]
