[ They'd ditched just after their first class. It was now almost lunch time, and so far, they hadn't done much of anything but roam around town and be assholes. This skipping class thing was starting to become a ritual. More often than not, they didn't make it through the entire school day without cutting out early to find something more amusing to do.

Not that he's complaining. It was fun, to say the least.

So, with his hands shoved in his pockets, he walks side-by-side with Bel, frowning at all the flowers that had mysteriously sprouted overnight. ]

We should do somethin'. [ Clearly. ] Like... Iunno. Somethin'. [ He's obviously speaking in high levels of intelligence today. ]

[ They pass yet another patch of flowers, and he stops. ]

Like find out why the fuck this flowers are just suddenly here.

[ Hadn't that kid said something like that the day before?

He walks over to give one of the flowers a poke. ]

[ He frowns at them. ] Well... at least they're not shitty flowers.

[ Not that he knows dick about flowers. Yukimura would, though. He knows all types a flowers, and even what they mean and what seasons they grow best in. ]

Like, look. [ He steps towards a patch of flowers. ] Fuckin' roses. They're not so bad.

Yeah, guess not. [ Bel knows some flower language, but that's about it. ]

I guess they're sorta pretty. [ Not that he's into flowers, but because roses do look good. ]

[ He leans down to pick a few of them carefully, as to not get pricked by the thorns. Then he straights up and holds them out to Bel. ]

I like white roses better. Pink roses are fuckin' stupid. But red roses are okay. [ And they match Bel's eyes! ]

[ He giggles and accepts the rose. ] Y'know those stand for chastity and things like that? [ But yes, white roses are pretty. ]

They usually smell pretty good too. [ He takes the rose to his nose, sniffing it. ]

White roses? [ He frowns. ] ... Well, damn.

[ He takes Bel's wrist to drag the roses to his own nose. ] Yeah, they do.

And eternal love and secrecy, so not only that. [ He giggles again.

Then he looks at Niou through his bangs. ]

That seems rather contradictory. But whatever, I can get behind it.

[ He looks up from the flowers, and with the hand not holding Bel's wrist, reaches up to brush those bangs away. ]

Guess it's gotta be a love forever without kisses or sex.

[ And Bel looks him right into the eyes. For some reason he's feeling strange now...is it imagination? ]

Love forever without kisses or sex sounds like bullshit to me. No fun at all.

[ Must be Niou's imagination, too. But he's still just... looking Bel in the eyes without much of a want to stop. ]

Totally. And pink's just a pain to remember. Different shade, different meaning. [ OK, so maybe he knows more flower language than he thought he did.

Bel doesn't mind. It's odd, but he wouldn't mind just looking into his eyes for a while longer. ]

Pink's just a stupid ass color. It's like white and red had an affair and pink is just their bastard child.

[ His gaze flickers down to Bel's lips before going back up to his eyes.

He's seems to have forgotten that they're in public. Oh well! ]

I've got a pink dress back in the castle. [ Now that...was totally unnecessary to say, wasn't it?

His cheeks grow hot, and his gaze flicks down for a moment. ]

[ Obviously. Slowly raising an eyebrow now. ] Oh really? Maybe pink's not that bad of a color.

[ Nope, not gonna fly. Niou frowns and tilts Bel's chin up in an attempt to get him to look him in the eyes again. ]

[ Aw don't when he's all embarrassed and blushing.

But he's gonna try to make some sort of comeback. ] The Prince looks good in any colour.

[ Aw, but he thinks it's cute. Like, super cute. ]

But being in a dress would make you a Princess. [ A slow grin. ] Princess.

Bel is the cutest princess ever<3 And let's say that was Bel's home country's language.

And he says something, in some language, without even thinking about it. ]

Niou raises an eyebrow. ] I think I've said somethin' about cute boys talkin' to me in foreign languages before, and it's hot and everything, but a translation would be nice.

Considering it seems like his country's a secret, that language's probably never been heard before.
