[ They'd ditched just after their first class. It was now almost lunch time, and so far, they hadn't done much of anything but roam around town and be assholes. This skipping class thing was starting to become a ritual. More often than not, they didn't make it through the entire school day without cutting out early to find something more amusing to do.

Not that he's complaining. It was fun, to say the least.

So, with his hands shoved in his pockets, he walks side-by-side with Bel, frowning at all the flowers that had mysteriously sprouted overnight. ]

We should do somethin'. [ Clearly. ] Like... Iunno. Somethin'. [ He's obviously speaking in high levels of intelligence today. ]

Holding his ice cream in one hand, he holds his other one out to Bel. Aw yeah, he's enjoying all of these couple-y things. ]

[ Good thing no one would normally call Niou a gentleman then. Unless he's Yagyuu, but then he's not really Niou. Kind of.

Oh he doesn't mind. Which he makes quite obvious since he takes Niou's hand. ]

[ He's not really Yagyuu. But he kind of is. It's a complicated situation.

And Niou's going to hide a silly smile by licking his ice cream. God, why is he such a dork? ]

So, now that we've got our ice cream, we should actually do somethin'.

Don't worry Niou, Bel's wearing quite the silly smile himself. ]

[ ... Maybe not that complicated. ]

We could... go hang around at the shoppin' center. Yanno, try on clothes and shit. Or go to the roller rink. Or go skinny dippin' at the pool. [ Nope, he doesn't care that it's freaking February. ]

[ Complicated enough.

He chuckles. ] Wanna see me naked that badly? Not that I've never tried that whole Finnish sauna-thing, but it's not as nice as it sounds~

If I wanted to see you naked that badly, I probably already would've found a way by now. [ Raising an eyebrow. ] Finnish sauna? Is that different from a regular sauna?

why is there no single word for 'hole in the ice'. It's simply called 'vak' in Swedish. /pouts

Probably~ [ He can't help but giggle at that. ]

First they sweat in the heat in the sauna, then they go into a hole in the ice for a swim. And do it all over again.

There's a lot of English phrases that would be neater if they could be shortened down. XD

[ Blinks. ] What. Why? That sounds pointless. And cold. [ Not that Niou doesn't like the cold or anything. ]

It is pointless. [ He should know, he's tried it. ] And stupid.

Very stupid. [ Lightly swinging their hands. ] So what're you up for?

How 'bout that roller rink? [ He hasn't been to one before. Nor has he even worn a pair of roller skates before, or been on a skateboard. ]

Sure. [ So there's a possibility that Niou will get to see Bel fall on his ass? ]

Then let's go there~ [ Yeah, there is. He's a fast learner though. ]

[ Ooh, fun. He'll laugh if it happens, because he's mean.

Niou starts heading in the direction of the roller rink. He'd never been to the one here, but he'd been to a few back at home. ]

[ That's so sweet Niou. He's lucky Bel likes him so much.

It can't be that hard, right? ]

[ He's the sweetest, clearly.

Not that hard. Minus the flailing while you try to gain your balance at the beginning. ]

[ A miracle sent from heaven (but who would ever say that to his face).

He'll do his best not to fall then. Can't go make a fool of himself in front of his boyfriend, right? Though rather that than in front of people he hates. ]

[ Somebody who wants to get punched. Or laughed at. Or both.

Don't worry, Niou will try to keep his laughing to a minimum if it comes to that.

By the time that they get there, Niou's finishing up the last bits of his ice cream. ]

[ Bel would never call Niou that anyway. It was quite obvious that Niou's no angel right away.

Bel's already finished with his, so it's time to see how fast Bel will learn and how good Niou will be keeping that laughter in. ]

[ His appearance just screams asshole.

Niou rents out their ice skates and laces them onto his feet. ]

[ To Bel it screams more 'fun' than that. And he's an asshole himself, so that's just perfect.

Getting them on's easy, now let's get get skating. He stands up, and sure it's wobbly, but he's so not going to fall already. ]

[ Maybe it's because Niou's an asshole that it's fun.

Niou steps out onto the ice and turns to watch Bel. Thankfully, tennis has given him a pretty good sense of balance. So while he's a bit waver-y, he's not at risk of falling. ]

[ Maybe. Two assholes can get up to a lot of fun together after all.

Bel's got quite good balance too, but this is a completely new way of using it. But he's too stubborn to fall, and he's going to do his best. Looking quite concentrated though. ]
