[ They'd ditched just after their first class. It was now almost lunch time, and so far, they hadn't done much of anything but roam around town and be assholes. This skipping class thing was starting to become a ritual. More often than not, they didn't make it through the entire school day without cutting out early to find something more amusing to do.

Not that he's complaining. It was fun, to say the least.

So, with his hands shoved in his pockets, he walks side-by-side with Bel, frowning at all the flowers that had mysteriously sprouted overnight. ]

We should do somethin'. [ Clearly. ] Like... Iunno. Somethin'. [ He's obviously speaking in high levels of intelligence today. ]

[ Tilting his head and frowning at the flavors. Ice cream has certainly come a long way in modern times. You've got all these fancy flavors back at home. ]

Vanilla. [ And then placing the orders and pulling out his wallet, because yep, he plans on paying for aaaaaaall of it. ]

[ Does this put him in the girl's position since this is supposed to be all gender-fixated? ]

Hey in case we get out of this place and you're in any of the parallel worlds I'm in I'll treat you to real Italian ice cream.

[ Yes, yes it does. Niou is clearly the man in this relationship. A man that happens to wear dresses and skirts occasionally. ]

Italian ice cream? What's it like?

[ Well Bel's not entirely innocent on that part either. Niou might just have done it more. But really, Bel's a girl now? ]

Italians make the best ice cream as far as I know~

[ Until he proves himself as a man, absolutely. Hinthint, treat Niou as a girl, and maybe Bel can be the dude. ]

I think any kind of ice cream would be better than this ice cream. [ He can't imagine that fifties ice cream will taste too good. ]

[ Well he sure doesn't mind that Niou's paying. He hasn't gotten his cards back yet, and he's never carried cash until he got here. ]

Yeah probably. Too bad I don't know how to make it myself.

[ Niou tends to carry more cash than what is usually acceptable. But that's because he has a habit of picking it off of people. ]

Homemade ice cream is great. I bet Italian homemade ice cream is better. [ 'Italian homemade ice cream made by you sounds the best' is what he wants to say, but that's stupid and girly, so he's just gonna keep his mouth shut. ]

[ Bel can't say it's bad of Niou to do that. ]

Think there's some way I could get my hands on a recipe to make that? [ Not that he's ever cooked, baked or made anything in the kitchen. Besides a disaster-zone. On purpose.

And Niou should totally have said that out loud. ]

[ Unless it's microwaveable, Niou will probably burn it. ]

Homemade ice cream or Italian homemade ice cream? [ A pause. ] Iunno, you could try askin' around on the phones and shit.

If you find one, we should make ice cream together. [ That sounded less girly in his head. ]

[ Yep, and now he's going to distract himself with retrieving their ice cream and handing Bel his.

He's not even sure if he wants to be cuter. Most guys would throw a fit at being called cute. ]

You won't be able to do anything about that cuteness anyway. But you're still quite manly, even though you're cute. ]

Niou leaves the shop, holding the door open like a good boyfriend. ]

[ He won't. It wouldn't be as fun if he was one all the time anyway.

He'll wait for Niou just a few steps from the door. ]

[ Of course. After all, a gentleman doesn't kiss on the first date, let alone before the first date.

Holding his ice cream in one hand, he holds his other one out to Bel. Aw yeah, he's enjoying all of these couple-y things. ]

[ Good thing no one would normally call Niou a gentleman then. Unless he's Yagyuu, but then he's not really Niou. Kind of.

Oh he doesn't mind. Which he makes quite obvious since he takes Niou's hand. ]

[ He's not really Yagyuu. But he kind of is. It's a complicated situation.

And Niou's going to hide a silly smile by licking his ice cream. God, why is he such a dork? ]

So, now that we've got our ice cream, we should actually do somethin'.

Don't worry Niou, Bel's wearing quite the silly smile himself. ]

[ ... Maybe not that complicated. ]

We could... go hang around at the shoppin' center. Yanno, try on clothes and shit. Or go to the roller rink. Or go skinny dippin' at the pool. [ Nope, he doesn't care that it's freaking February. ]

He chuckles. ] Wanna see me naked that badly? Not that I've never tried that whole Finnish sauna-thing, but it's not as nice as it sounds~

If I wanted to see you naked that badly, I probably already would've found a way by now. [ Raising an eyebrow. ] Finnish sauna? Is that different from a regular sauna?
