Who: Kariya Matou, Lancer, Rin Tohsaka, residents of 1666 Nelson Street, and all of Rin's friends.
What: A party to prove to Rin that she has friends.
Where: 1666 Nelson Street.
When: Saturday afternoon.
Warnings: Possible tsunsplosion. Action tags to keep things going.

With the help of Lancer, Kariya had managed to get in touch with all of Rin's friends, acquaintances, and anyone else who views her in the slightest favorable light.  The party had been thrown together somewhat at the last minute, but since it's really just a gathering of friends, there actually wasn't that much specific planning to do.  There's plenty of food and drink - both alcoholic and non - set up in the kitchen and dining room area, and a separate table for anyone bringing presents to set them down.  Apart from that, he's just sitting there with the assembled group of Rin's friends, waiting for her to arrive.

Like probably everyone else here who is trying their best. Better to just be a fly on the wall and watch. Of course, he's not literally a fly but he doesn't mind sitting up someplace high, like the top of a chair (totally sitting on it incorrectly) and watching the going ons.

I would think that the large flat space attached to the legs would be used for sitting and not the back.

[Bazett does not so much mingle as she walks through the house, looking around to see what everyone is doing. None of the party guests have broken out into a fight yet, so that was good.]

[With how stupidly open Hakuno is with other people, it's easy to forget that she's a tad on the socially awkward side. Not really badly so, but before Mayfield, she was trapped in an area where she had three friends, tops, and over a hundred others were prepared to kill her. That doesn't help you with your skills with making friends, you know!

She kept insisting that she doesn't have friends because she's too cool for it or something. Honestly, she worries too much about her image. I wanted to have this party to prove to her that she's got real friends that care about her, so she won't be able to deny it in front of anyone ever again.

[Despite normally being a very lively and outgoing girl, Marisa is still uncharacteristically keeping to herself. She's opened a window and is sitting sideways on the windowsill, watching the ongoings.]

[Marisa looks away from Merem. He probably knows she and Ciel got into it a few days ago over her research. He probably knows she's been shutting herself away, been droned a couple times, and has that haggard look reclusive mages get. She's been very bad off since the end of the portals thing.
