Who: Kariya Matou, Lancer, Rin Tohsaka, residents of 1666 Nelson Street, and all of Rin's friends.
What: A party to prove to Rin that she has friends.
Where: 1666 Nelson Street.
When: Saturday afternoon.

With the help of Lancer, Kariya had managed to get in touch with all of Rin's friends, acquaintances, and anyone else who views her in the slightest favorable light.  The party had been thrown together somewhat at the last minute, but since it's really just a gathering of friends, there actually wasn't that much specific planning to do.  There's plenty of food and drink - both alcoholic and non - set up in the kitchen and dining room area, and a separate table for anyone bringing presents to set them down.  Apart from that, he's just sitting there with the assembled group of Rin's friends, waiting for her to arrive.

What of them? Nearly all of us still possess our bodies as they existed when we were humans. Weight certainly didn't change in the meantime.

Of course not. If they drank too much blood, it would simply end up pouring out of every open orifice like the eyes or nose. Much like the Night of Wallachia is famous for.

...Right. And what about human food, should they choose to consume it?

Firstly, human food just doesn't taste quite as good when you're a vampire. Secondly, our bodies do not metabolize so there's no way to gain weight.

If you ate it, where would it go?

[She had seen Servants eat and drink before, but not Dead Apostles with anything other than blood.]

Her and I go way back. Very close friends.

I remember you saying that once. Then, what are your interests here now that the towns seems to be malfunctioning?

Why would I be concerned about escape? Logic says that I'll outlive this town.

Will you? Even if it sinks into a void that erases any matter which comes into contact with it?

That's a large 'what if'.

I'm confident that I can survive whatever is thrown at me.

For me, perhaps. If something would end up being a spectacle for you, you would already be dead.
