A beautiful summer day in Mayfield should never be wasted, even if they're all beautiful. So, why not stop by the pool for some food, drinks and games? And of course, swimming.

[Chairs and beach towels are set up for people to hang out and talk, sunbathe, or just dip their feet in.]

IN THE POOL!

[For all the swimmers! There's a low end and deep end, with a spring diving board at the deep side. Look out for those canonballs!]

FOOD AND DRINKS

[Your requisite party fare, generously donated by other party goers. There's plenty of snacks and drinks. Quinn is near it with his DJing stuff, far enough away from the water.]

DIVING CONTEST

[These contests are nothing formal, but Quinn DID pick up some dinky little trophies for those deemed winner. Anyone is willing to participate, and anyone is welcome to judge.

The diving contest begins once people are cleared from the deep end of the pool. People participating will be given scores on a 1 through 10 basis by the "judges" - that is, whoever feels like yelling a number. Quinn will be writing it down.]

SWIMSUIT CONTEST

[These contests are nothing formal, but Quinn DID pick up some dinky little trophies for those deemed winner. Anyone is willing to participate, and anyone is welcome to judge.

The swimsuit contest is pointless and frivolous, but Quinn can't help himself. There's two trophies for this - presumably, one male and one female. People participating will be given scores on a 1 through 10 basis by the "judges" - that is, whoever feels like yelling a number. Quinn will be inn charge of this one, for sure, though.]

WATER BALLOON FIGHT

[There's a bucket of water balloons, a bag of unfilled ones, and a nearby hose. YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO. Just don't hit Quinn's equipment or someone might get murdered.]

[Crowe's hanging out on one of the chairs, looking out over the pool. He spends a lot of time here as it is, keeping in shape, but it's nice to relax and hang out with everyone else here too.]

[April has managed to find herself a swimsuit to wear and is now just chilling in one of the chairs next to the pool. There's a few times where it seems like she's considering going into the pool, before deciding against it.]

[Hajime is swimming around with great enthusiasm. Seriously, just try to keep this kid out of the pool. People who look closely may notice that the water occasionally does things that can't possibly come just from splashing]

[Czes is standing in the shade as much as he can, people watching with a bottle of sunscreen in hand, because he doesn't want to get sunburnt. His skin's not going to heal from that here! But he doesn't trust that bottle of sunscreen his drone-mother handed to him before he left the house. What if it's like the milk? What if it's some sort of evil acidic substance Mayfield provided that's going to melt away his skin?

Something to stop the sun from burning his skin? Yeah, that sounds great. Inventions can do amazing things, but he totally doesn't trust the stuff he's being given in this city. Yeesh...

So he's people watching. Trying to find faces that look familiar, or even friendly.]

[Oh come on your just going to sit there and glare at people the entire time? Even Pokey enjoys pool parties. Though in his case this is accompanied by an utter disregard about caring about the sun. Sun block? What's that?

Pokey didn't even know if Frances was going to come. But the moment he sees her he...well he doesn't want to just leave her by herself even if she's the one who separated herself from everyone else. In the end he knows no one really wants to be alone no matter how much thy may say so or act like it.

So he'll go over to talk with her, though it takes him a minute to do so. His hair getting wet causes it to stick to his face, giving him a shaggy dog look.]

So anyone done anything spectacularly stupid yet?

[It's a party! It's an excuse to further hone her snack-making skills! So there's Dakki, occasionally stopping by to fuss with the paper cups and mix more fruit punch and set out more little sandwiches.

[But her own bit of confusion is no need to be rude. Dakki gives him a cheery greeting as she comes back from a little bit of tending to the refreshments. She's in a silver-grey bikini and wearing sandals. So nice of the town to send her some of her own clothes.]
