Because he can't stop himself from making a movie reference, the theme of this year's Prom is "Enchantment Under the Sea". (Don't get too freaked out, Marty McFly.) Equipment has been moved out, seating has been set near tables and walls, and a makeshift stage has been constructed to host the DJing equipment. Quinn has music up until 2010, so a large variety of music will get played. There's plenty of food and drinks - including spiked, and very-much-not-spiked punch (magically protected, thanks to Ilsa). In a corner is a small set up for people who wish to get their photos taken by Tsukasa.

The party is under way - have yourselves a good time, Mayfield!

You have not signed a contract with the master, or had business before hand with me so.... Should I have?

"Hah, well, I did only arrive in this town 6 weeks ago, so I suppose my reputation has not caught up to me yet! But not matter!"

[Cade pauses for a moment, and appears to have had a thought.]

"...Who is this master you speak of?"

[She stares at him briefly and then states in a rather matter of fact way]

Are you a God?

[Man, it is a shame that Cade doesn't have Winston Zeddemore around for advice on that one.]

"No, I am the Blessed of the goddess Idamra, though! Her singular champion and ambassador that She has chosen for the mortal world!"

[Cade strikes a bit of a pose.]

"Well, of course not. Gods aren't allowed to set foot in the world of mortals. At least where I come from, anyway. That's why they choose champions like me."

Then it is of little concern to you as I do not believe my master has a contract with you. I'm certain I would know were that the case.

[This woman is crazier than Cade is.]

That and several gods have graced the grounds here. For a while even Loki and Thor counted themselves among the captives here.

"I am not familiar with those gods. Have Idamra, Morgana, orVeritas ever been captives here?"

There may have been a Morgana, I am not certain. That being said I have not had tea with any of that trio.

"So you only socialize with gods, then?"

No, but I have had to many times given the work I do.

"Ah, so I still have a chance then."

[Cade smirks.]

"That we may get together for coffee or tea sometime, to get to know each other better."

[Cade was tempted to suggest more, but thinks better of it.]

Perhaps once I recover from the failure of my duty. Or figure a way free of the may of Erebus myself. One that does not involve bloodshed as it would probably be mine.

[Cade clearly doesn't understand.]

It is a long story, and one that makes little sense if one does not deal with Gods or has not made a contract with the master.

True, but does she explain to you the innermost workings of how the universes function and keep from destroying each other, or merely use you as an errand boy?
