Because he can't stop himself from making a movie reference, the theme of this year's Prom is "Enchantment Under the Sea". (Don't get too freaked out, Marty McFly.) Equipment has been moved out, seating has been set near tables and walls, and a makeshift stage has been constructed to host the DJing equipment. Quinn has music up until 2010, so a large variety of music will get played. There's plenty of food and drinks - including spiked, and very-much-not-spiked punch (magically protected, thanks to Ilsa). In a corner is a small set up for people who wish to get their photos taken by Tsukasa.

The party is under way - have yourselves a good time, Mayfield!

[Rikku flops down unceremoniously next to Yuna. She's still having a great night of food and dancing and friends, but that doesn't mean she isn't eager to keep track of those closest to her. And really, sitting out sounds more like something her Yunie would do.

Well, until Rikku dragged her out on the dance floor, that is.]

[Yuna turns to smile at Rikku.]

[Leaning back, she takes a deep breath and stretches out her legs.]

Just taking a break. Those shoes are killing me. I mean, they're cute and all, but man are they uncomfortable.

[She lifts a foot to roll her ankle in a circle, wiggling her toes.]

Post Office, turns out the little scare-tactic about how the postman trades limbs for items from home was nothing but a load of crap. _{[ He gives the gun a once over before arming it. ]} Fully loaded too, just how I left it.

"Oh! It was? Well... story-telling, dancing, singing, sword-fighting, random acts of daring-do."

[Cade pauses and gives Virginia a sly smile, then edges toward her a bit.]

"But what I really like to do is make sure pretty ladies such as yourself are having a good time. So... what do you like to do?"

Yeah, neither will I! ♪

[She's had enough time to catch her breath after talking to the Princes. Anyway, since it's a sing-off, she'll walk with him over to the DJ's table and gesture.]

Well, you're the challenger. Go ahead, pick a song. ♪

[roadroller]

[Huh.]

...

I see! Well, an advantage is an advantage, I guess... ♪

[She's not sure she wants to get used to this one though.]

You don't know the half of it. Putting up with that non-stop for a week was almost too much, even for me. [Because Joshua is clearly the victim here.]

[ Well. She's closer to a real girl than Gola Mosca was to a human overall. ]

[ She lets her hand continue running through Yuna's hair. ]

[She sounds genuinely grateful as she settles in.]

That feels nice.

It sure is. It is interesting to see how it can change a person's mood.

[ Juliet looks exasperated once more - for a different reason this time - even if not at all surprised. She knows Carlton's tendency to whip out his service weapon in front of civilians. Or at them, more often than not. ]

That's great, but you should probably put it away now. We don't want some civilian to catch you handling a loaded gun and starting a wave of panic if they draw all the wrong conclusions about it.

[ She frowns. ] Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you seem like your normal self, but how can you be sure the postman didn't take something less noticeable instead?

[ She's glad she can be of help. ]

[ She doesn't want Yuna to be uncomfortable, after all. ]
