Because he can't stop himself from making a movie reference, the theme of this year's Prom is "Enchantment Under the Sea". (Don't get too freaked out, Marty McFly.) Equipment has been moved out, seating has been set near tables and walls, and a makeshift stage has been constructed to host the DJing equipment. Quinn has music up until 2010, so a large variety of music will get played. There's plenty of food and drinks - including spiked, and very-much-not-spiked punch (magically protected, thanks to Ilsa). In a corner is a small set up for people who wish to get their photos taken by Tsukasa.

The party is under way - have yourselves a good time, Mayfield!

Persistence is one of your attributes of note, is it not? Fine. One.

I do not leave my abode that often. Not without business on the outside. Is there some way in which I can assist you?

[Yuna lets out a brief giggle at the poke, fidgeting a little in place and looking embarrassed.]

Don't worry, I'll be good!

Not fair? How so? I think it's plenty fair, considering all the things Mayfield puts us through.

But of course~

[He takes her hand and led her to the dance floor.]

Shush. This is just another one of those things you'll see through to the end.

People let their guard down, then wonder why it hurts more later on. That's why.

I still think it's better than walking on eggshells all the time, always waiting for the next big thing to happen. People shouldn't live that way.

That's a good idea. I think you'll enjoy dressing up for things like this.

[Wait. What.]

No. It's not like that! Nothing like that.

Oh, really? How disappointing.

He must be pretty convincing then, if you came anyway.

"Good! Now, tell me, why are you sitting up here by yourself?"

"Well, I'd love to know your name, for starters."

Just doing a little people watching.

"And what do you see?"

Um... just people. Dancing.

"Good! You've successfully watched them, then! Now, go join them"

[Cade gives her a gentle push on the back.]

That's okay, I'm all right just resting for a bit.

[ He laughs. ]

So robot girls aren't girls~?

"Nonsense! You're young and full of energy! Now get out there!"

Well gee I'm honored.

[It's said in his usual, obnoxious tone but he's looking away again.]

[ It does, but Yachiyo decides not to say anything about it. At least not right now. It wouldn't help her relax. It does make her worried though. ]

It's okay, really! I'm fine just watching!

Hey... thanks, Yachiyo.

[Yuna just keeps her head there, staring out at the dance floor.]
