Because he can't stop himself from making a movie reference, the theme of this year's Prom is "Enchantment Under the Sea". (Don't get too freaked out, Marty McFly.) Equipment has been moved out, seating has been set near tables and walls, and a makeshift stage has been constructed to host the DJing equipment. Quinn has music up until 2010, so a large variety of music will get played. There's plenty of food and drinks - including spiked, and very-much-not-spiked punch (magically protected, thanks to Ilsa). In a corner is a small set up for people who wish to get their photos taken by Tsukasa.

The party is under way - have yourselves a good time, Mayfield!

Maybe that's for the best, but it's something I have trouble settling with all the same. It isn't fair for us to have such a good time, you know?

Not fair? How so? I think it's plenty fair, considering all the things Mayfield puts us through.

People let their guard down, then wonder why it hurts more later on. That's why.

I still think it's better than walking on eggshells all the time, always waiting for the next big thing to happen. People shouldn't live that way.

No, they really shouldn't... but it happens, you know? That's the way life is. Then again, when we're able to enjoy it like this... it seems more like a true way of living than what I'm suggesting.

I'd go crazy just worrying all the time. It's good to relax once in a while. At least then I'm rested and ready when I need to get serious.

Is it really that easy to be able to pick yourself up if you weren't prepared due to being relaxed?

Relaxing doesn't mean letting your guard down completely. That'd be stupid in a place like this. It just means not being all wound up all the time.
