DA Meeting #4 [OPEN]

What: Defense Association meeting, the fourth.
Where: Mayfield High School's Gym
When: Thursday, after dark.

There isn't a whole lot of set-up to do for the meeting. Beyond a table or two rolled in from the cafeteria in case anyone needs to set something down somewhere and convincing a teacher or a janitor to let them use the indoor bleachers, that's all. There are places to sit, the lights are on, it isn't cold except by the door (which is propped open by a brick). What more could they need?

Oi, Caesar! You're going to sleep right through the meeting if you keep this up!! [ She can't run this meeting Caesar she has no idea what's in store... ]

...hmm?[Hey, he wakes up just fine, thanks.] I wasn't going to. I know when it starts.

Do you sleep with an inner clock or something? How do you know what time it is in there? [ Yes he has to.... ]

An inner clock? [That sounds weird.] No. It's just that it never fails that someone yells at me to wake up in time.

[Well, Minato had decided it'd be okay to come out of the house. He's by himself doing what he does best at parties: sitting back and being a wallflower. If anyone wants to talk to him though, feel free.]

[She nods at him. She wonders if he can handle himself in an organization that would probably involve some degree of combat. She knows he has a good mindset when it comes to disasters, but she has yet to see his combat skills. Or at least, she does not remember seeing his combat skills, having forgotten the Christmas event.]

Are you part of this organization, or are you just looking to join?

[She wonders if there are divisions like there are in the Resistance.]

[The Resistance, anyway. The DA doesn't sound bad either, though.]

[Bazett had hurried back to the high school after the SOS club meeting. She had mistakenly believed this to be the same organization as the Resistance, but now that she knew that they were different groups, she was curious as to this group's agenda.]

[Therefore, she is standing in the gym, looking around.]

[Oops, he's awake now, and who knows when he showed up standing next to Neville, yawning.]

Pretty much. Wait until the next meeting is held in the UFO, that'll just confuse you even more.

[Dakki is here! And as promised, she brought sandwiches. Although she arrived empty-handed, she heads to the table in the back and starts to sort of... produce tupperware containers from nowhere. A reach behind herself, a blue glow, and.... fwooosh, snacks.

As she sets them all out on the table, she hums to herself. There's egg salad, tuna salad, ham and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, and cucumber and cream cheese. All cut into little dainty triangles, all pretty edible-looking.]

[Close behind her is Date who is looking around, having arrived shortly after she had asked him to come. At least it doesn't look bad at least.]

Ah! Date! Hello!

[She turns about and waves at him! ...and then, with another reaching motion and some more blue glowing, she produces two empty plastic pitchers.]

Say, if it's not too much trouble, could you fill these with water?

[And she smiles brightly. Surely he can't refuse a smile that bright.]

Sure thing! I'll go get it filled up in a second. [And he takes the pitchers and heads off for the fountains. He's back in a little bit, holding them up.]

[By the time he gets back, Dakki seems to have finished arranging the sandwiches to her satisfaction. She has stepped back and is standing there, hands on her hips, rather pleased with herself.]

...Ooh! Excellent!

[She reaches out for them, and once they're handed over she'll set them on the table and get to work mixing in powdered fruit punch mix.]

I'm so glad you could come, Date! I don't think things have really gotten started yet, so don't worry! You haven't missed anything.

[Mmmm sandwiches. There's a very small boy peering over the edge of the table, before giving her a polite smile.]

Are these for everyone?

Absolutely! I made them for everyone, and you're definitely part of everyone. [She giggles.] Help yourself!

[Then excuse him while he eats ALL THE TUNA EVER!]

[ With all of her life spent in a Japanese like place, sandwiches were still quite the odd sight. She didn't know what they were named, how they were made or what they tasted like.

So cue Tsuande looking pretty surprised by the snacks. The snacks everywhere. ]

Are sandwiches really made that quickly?!

Aah? [The question startles her a bit. She knocks a few little sandwich triangles askew from the nice stack she had been making on a plate.]

Oh, I made them at home! I just brought them here in my nano-storage, because it's easier! But they're very easy to make.

Nano-storage? That sounds like the scroll system we use back home. [ Tsunade will just... start picking up the stray sandwiches and start stacking them with her ninja dexterity. ] Sorry for startling you. How long did these things take to make? And how did you make them anyways? [ Help her discover the wonders of sandwiches... ]
