(There's a gentle knocking on the door as an unfortunately hornless unicorn drops by for a visit.)

-She's so popular lately. But do you think she'd go downstairs and open the door like a normal person?

The upstairs bedroom window opens, lavender hair poking out.-

Hmm? -A familiar face. Sort of.- To what do I owe the pleasure?

(Twilight's not exactly one to judge normality; she'd spend days in her home just reading or sorting things.)

Ms. Patchouli? I'm Twilight Sparkle; I heard you have a far superior collection of books than the library and I was wondering if I might trouble you for a few of them?

You've heard correctly. Wait one moment, please. -And in she went.


... Several minutes later, the latch on the door finally turns, and it's opened with a creak. Patchouli only barely peaks out, giving the horse a good long look.-

Are your feet clean?

(She gives her hooves a look over and taps them against the pavement just to be safe. She hasn't had much of a reason to run around in the mud lately.)

Tir, 773 Bunker

[If Tir is anywhere near Lion's house, chances are he'll see him on the front lawn, inspecting his window sills. It seems that an awful lot of flowers have been put there, and he isn't entirely sure what to make of them. They're pretty, but how did they get here...?]

-He was just on his way to visit, actually. He was chewing a flower of his own between his teeth. Some simple irises, by the look of things. He just seemed to really want to see Lion. It was good he wouldn't have to wait.-

[Lion turns in the direction of Tir's voice.] Oh! Hello, Tir-san. These flowers showed up here. It's probably the town's work...they seem harmless enough, at least. [Lion, you have no idea.]

I wasn't expecting a visit, though. What brings you here?

Yeah, I ran into some earlier. -Tir smiled, sheepishly and rubbing the back of his head.- I had meant to pick some for you, but I kind of rushed over... ah... ha ha...

Spontaneous cuteness at the church, Dizzy?

[AS MUCH AS YOUKO LOVES ROSES. Red roses especially. Rosa Chinensis and all, you know. She doesn't have one. Too much trolling for one event.

Instead she's mulling over something slightly... milder. Something pink and cute. Very Carnation.]

-Arranging all of the flowers that had shown up at the church was hard work, considering the volume. Youko had stopped in just in time for Dizzy to be taking a break, playing out a little jazzy tune on the piano before she noticed her friend. She gave a bright smile, a mixture of several scents with her...-

[Dizzy gets a very sisterly affectionate smile as Youko stands from her place at the pew - a bit unusual for her, but her onee-sama senses are tingling.]

It's very nice to see you looking in such high spirits.

Ah, well, it's just been so wonderful, all of these romantic feelings in the air. People seem so happy.

[There is a loud thump coming from the next room over as Koakuma rolls out of her bed and falls onto the floor.

-Pretty much. Patchy eventually comes knocking. Because sometimes the falling out of her bed didn't manage to wake her up, and she needed to make sure.-

[This would be one of those times, Patchy. With how noisy things could get back home sometimes, being able to sleep so heavily was sometimes a blessing.

This time around, even the knocking doesn't get her. Going in and waking her directly may be required.]

-Geeze, girl. With a huff, Patchy opens the door and moves across the room to the side of the bed Koa collapsed from. She kneels to give her shoulders a firm shake.-

[Okay, okay, so maybe Caesar's been acting a little odd since that morning with the flowers, but he's managed to keep the handful of attempts, failed attempts, on Balin's life more or less under wraps, or at least looking like accidents. And maybe he's been hovering around nearby a bit more attentively than before, but why wouldn't he? He wouldn't want her to hurt herself in a fall or anything, in case she's not recovered yet.

Though he did end up going out for an hour or two, just enough time to track down something suitably holiday-like to bring back. When Caesar does return, it's with one of those heart-shaped boxes of candy under one arm.]

Virginia? Are you still here?

Still on the couch where you left me. -Virginia sat up, using her cane to reach over and click the television off. Hey, it really did come in handy sometimes.-

Oh, good. [In some vague effort to actually surprise her, he'll hide the box behind his back before strolling into the den. Hey, it seems like the thing to do.] I picked something up for you while I was out.

Picked something up, huh? Gonna keep me guessing about it?

-She had honestly zero idea...-

Church; quietly pretends to not be super late.........

[Was there a risk in going out today? Certainly. But could it be helped? Probably not. There were flowers, flowers everywhere, and with her nose, she could pick out at least half a dozen scent, and she knew there was more.

...Well, hopefully the cloth she wore like a scarf out today helps, but given her luck, it probably wouldn't do much. Still, she needs to swing by the Church to restock the pantry. There's more space there to cook than at home, okay, it's easier to bake there, true story. Not many people usually go to the Church anyway, so it should be okay...right? Though either way, she ought to be able to apologize and rationalize once all this blows over. She's well-acquainted with those who frequent the church most often anyway, so yeah, this shouldn't be too bad.

Coming in by the front doors, she'll see that there are a few bouquets scattered on the pews inside as well. ...Mayfield, are you serious... Ah well, let's get that cleaned up then, so she'll hold down a sigh and start amassing those carnation bouquets.]

-And that was probably when she was most likely to notice that Dizzy was also there... And she was arranging the flowers. There were so many to work with, she couldn't help herself. It filled the chapel with color. And they all smelled so wonderful...-
