[It's been far too long since Lyon had been invited by Ruri to use the Nadesico's newly regained onsen, and since she's had a couple of pretty stressful weeks recently, she figures now is as good a time as any to kick back and relax a bit.  And since Miakis is undroned and they never really got to talk about what happened over Christmas, she's invited her best knightbro along too.  It'll be a good chance for the two of them to unwind a little.  Lyon's got a pink towel wrapped around her as she heads into the onsen area, and she's also carrying some bath beads she's been waiting to use for a long time now, along with the usual soap and shampoo.]

Wow, look at this place!  It's even bigger than the bath house at the castle!

[Not that anyone said anything about splashing either. Lyon invented a complex set of rules of engagement in her head, and clearly Miakis has knowingly violated them.]

[Lyon glares at Teddie, belatedly bringing an arm up to cover the bare chest he most certainly has already gotten the chance to see.]

What are you doing in here? This is the girls' bath, isn't it?

[Miakis starts looking around for her towel, but alas, it's all the way on the other side of the onsen. >:| So she crosses her arms over her chest as well.]

Thaaaat's right, no boys allowed! I might make one or two exceptions, but you are sadly not on the list. [She smiles brightly, a stark contrast to her angry tone.] Soooo, I would suggest that you leave. Quickly, please~

But Ruri-chan said I could come up here anytime!

[Lyon, on the other hand, isn't even bothering to smile. She's pissed.]

And she told me that I could come here anytime I like to relax. But having you watch my friend and I bathe is the opposite of relaxing - in fact, it's very inappropriate! So please leave right now.

[His first question is directed to Lyon.]

Inappropriate? What do you mean?

How do you not know that? Didn't anyone ever teach you things like this? You're not supposed to just walk in on girls when they're taking a bath! Or when they're changing clothes, or using the bathroom, or any other time you can think of! It's a matter of simple courtesy and respecting peoples' privacy!

[Lyon sits back down in the water, crouching down low enough that Teddie shouldn't be able to see anything.]

Now we've asked you nicely - and more than once, I might add - to please leave us alone. I suppose I can forgive you if you honestly didn't know any better, but now that you do, it would be rude of you to insist on staying.

[Meanwhile, as Lyon is giving her little speech, Miakis is sneaking around to the other side of the bath where she left her towel.

Also her daggers.

And if you don't leave, we'll be forced to make you go, and we don't want that, do we~?

[He looks at Lyon in genuine surprise.]

But isn't that what you're supposed to do at an onsen? Surprise the girls and then hold the line for as long as you can?

That's what Sensei had everyone do the last time...

[And then he glances back at Miakis.]

You guys are really different from Chie-chan and Rise-chan....

No! Just leave! What do we have to say to make you understand that we don't want you in here with us?

[Lyon's patience with this has just about run out.]

[dwaggies]

What you're supposed to do in an onsen is respect the fact that we don't want to be disturbed by any boys. You have guts, I'll give you that, but I'm afraid I have to ask you to leave!

Now, please. Before we get angry.

[There is a long pause while he processes everything they've told him. Then he smiles and climbs out of the pool.]

Okay~ Bye then~!

[Leaving all cheerful like nothing even happened.]

[Lyon blinks. She was expecting to have to argue for at least another ten minutes. She turns to watch him leave, utterly dumbstruck.]

...What was that all about?

[dwaggies]

[Miakis watches him go, squinting suspiciously like she expects him to come back. After a minute or two, she relaxes and settles back down in the water. SHRUG.]

Weird kid. But at least we didn't need to resort to violence~!

[sparkling_eyes]

[Lyon heads back over too, sitting down with a sigh.]

Now we can finally relax.

[dwaggies]

Yup!

[Miakis once again stretches out her arms and legs, closes her eyes, and sighs happily. Assuming there will be no further interruptions, this will be a very relaxing evening indeed.

Except...

She opens an eye and glances at Lyon, frowning.]

Hey, Lyon. Have you been in any fights recently? [Yep, she saw that scar during their wrasslin' match earlier, and she's a little confused. :|a]
