Another Desperate Revival Case ( Encounter)
Who: Conan Edogawa | Shinichi Kudo (
1_truth), Gin (
shadesofgray)
When: A few days after Gin's arrival
Where: Mostly inside a walk in freezer
WARNINGS: Hardcore Child abuse. Gin. Language and Gin. (not the Alcohol)
Conan had not left the house in the past couple of days, instead he took up the very unhealthy habit of watching the street from behind a window with baited breath. One might have thought that he expected a monster to stroll down the road with the intent of destroying everything in its path. It was a possibility in a place like Mayfield, but since monster's didn't scare Edogawa Conan it was easy enough to guess that what he was expecting or on the look out for was far worse than a monster.
He'd hardly eaten and hadn't slept well lately, his complexion turning pale and almost sickly as he fell into what someone might mistake as a depression. When night fell the small boy would proceed about his nightly routines as normal but it wasn't uncommon for his nightmares to wake him up. When morning broke he once again stationed himself by the window to peek out the blinds. He stayed in the same place until well into midday before the thing he'd been watching for just so happened to be walking down the road.
Conan felt his heart starting to beat faster in his chest and cast a glance back at the clock on the wall. He knew he shouldn't follow Gin after very recently asking someone to find the assassin right after telling them how potentially dangerous it would be for Conan to do it, but if Gin just happened to cross by the house and Conan followed him just to see where he went... well.. that was different than looking for him right?
No. Following him now is just as dangerous as it would be to actively seek him out. ...But then again.. he can't lock himself in the house forever, Mayfield would never accept the idea of him being home schooled. He had to know which places to avoid and if he'd need to find a new route to school. Besides, it wasn't like he intended to do anything more than see where Gin was going. After he knew that he'd just go home and return to waiting on the information he requested-no one need ever know he left the house.
With another look back at the clock, Conan finally chose to slip out of the house, keeping low and crouching by the banister, intent on keeping a safe distance between him and Gin.

Without warning Conan will be met with the familiar feeling of darkness, the scent of chemicals clipped over his nostrils. However, when he wakes up he will be hanging in a much colder room- a room already inhabited by other meats, skinned and halved cows lining the walls on both sides as Gin stands before him. Exactly how long he's been waiting for him to wake up is unknown- but either way.
The look on his face is all business.

"And exactly what you were doing at Tokyo Tower in the middle of the night..." There's no need to specify when either- after all, the date is obvious already.

And now Gin was going to kill him. Worse, Gin was going to kill Edogawa Conan who he didn't know was actually Kudo Shinichi.
"Oh..." Conan mouthes through some labored breathing, not really aware the gag had been removed. The only thing he was aware of was a sense of numbness that's quickly consuming him as he realizes just how badly he fucked up. There's no other word for it. He fucked up big time.
And now what? How could he possibly talk his way out of this one?
no subject
Not good. And it's only now that a pipe at the side can be seen from the shadows, now that Gin grabs it. "I'm waiting," he says coolly, calmly taking the pipe in hand and moving toward the boy. "What were you doing. At 'Tokyo Tower'..."
no subject
...It's cold...
To make matters worse Gin is asking about the tower.
...So cold...
About Irish. The memory card-He's shivering and not from fear- The serial murders.
.....Cold...
"The-" His shivering forces the cable binding his hands to rub against his already rubbed raw flesh. "The...case..."
no subject
Cases... "Aaah..." The one with the mahjong titles. Regardless. "And yet the case was not the reason you stayed," he hisses. "Or else you would not have launched a skylight at my helicopter, nor moved to protect who you did," the man continues. "So," he asks, grip moving beneath the jaw and tightening somewhat. "Just why would you do that...?"
no subject
"Th-Th-" He shivers hard.
No, no-no...! The memory slips too far beyond reach as Conan desperately tries to recall that night-that case. Unfortunately the only thing he can remember about it now is running up the tower. "I-I...I c-can't... can't remember."

The pipe is swung, and with a dull and sick thud it slams against the boy's side.
no subject
No... h-he has to think harder-there has to be something-anything! If he answers then he won't get hit again, right? But-But that night-he can't focus. He can't remember! How could he remember? Why is his mind drawing a blank!? Now of all times!?
"I-I... I really don't-" Don't say you don't remember. It'll only get him hit again. Even as messed up as he already is-he knows that much. "I-I only f-followed..."
no subject
"Give me a single reason why that could be possible..."
no subject
'Is a reason needed?'
"Why..." He winces as he takes a breath. "Why do I-" Another wince. "-Need a r-reason?" It may be a futile effort and painful but Conan tries to readjust himself-only managing to pull on the already dislocated shoulder and upset his newly broken ribs.
"D-does there... have to be... a-a l-logical-" He swallows some of the cold air, biting back the pain. "-mind?"
no subject
He steps back, a smirk coming over him. "Hnhnhnhnhn..." Well then...
"HnhahaHAHA..." As he turns his back to the boy he shakes his head, pipe gripped tightly in one of his hands. "So you're just a maytr then... A foolish child who's willing to toss their life away like they would a piece of trash! Hnhnhnhnhn... How fitting..."

His shoes? He makes an attempt to look down at them, suddenly remembering how powerful his shoes could be. Gin has his back turned-for what, Shinichi is sure he doesn't want to know. He glances wildly around but the only thing nearby is a frozen-ah-right.
"S-sorry. B-but I-" But he knows he can't waste time with words as they are costing him an incredible amount of energy right now before lifting his legs up and slamming them into the frozen cow.

Similarly, it is a cow's hip that connects with Gin's head- making his own meeting with darkness all too swift, if at least long enough for the boy to make a break for it...
