A beautiful summer day in Mayfield should never be wasted, even if they're all beautiful. So, why not stop by the pool for some food, drinks and games? And of course, swimming.

[Her ears are flat and she tugs the hem of her swimsuit down, wondering how she managed to get dragged into this. Her hair's pulled up from her earlier attempts to teach April how to swim, and her tail is tucked as she nervously shifts her weight from one foot to another. A quick glance at the other girls in this contest is enough for her to lose her nerve, and she tries to back out while no one's looking.]

[Applejack has come over here to see what the fuss was all about and notices Mika has changed into a swimsuit.]

Oh, so you decided to go swimming after all?

[Her fur would bristle defensively if it wasn't all damp. She huffs, her ears flicking back.]

I was just helping April learn how to, is all.

Well that sure was nice of ya! How'd she do?

[WHERE YOU GOIN', ROOMIE.] Well well well! This is hardly the person I thought would show up for this little contest.

[She turns away from him, her towel now held tightly over her head to hide it almost as if she was hoping it would render her invisible. Nooooo if he gets any closer all of her scars will be obvious, and even with Cade's healing, none of them have vanished and there are a lot of them.

She makes an anxious sound as she tucks her tail, though she seems to be suffering from a rather extreme case of the flusters.]

S-so? Even if it is it might not be any good on me...

It might be, I just can't tell from that towel yer hidin' under.

's kind of the point. Besides, didn't you see it the other day when I brought home the groceries or something?

That ain't the same! [He shakes his head, smiling good-naturedly.] Alright, alright. I ain't gonna make ya, of course, but ya shouldn't be so shy.

[She lifts a corner of the towel to stare up at him.]

B-but everyone'll see them...

I don't think they'll think as much of it as you think they will.

[Raising the edge of the towel a bit more to see him better, her ears are flat against her scalp.]
