PROM, PART 2

Because he can't stop himself from making a movie reference, the theme of this year's Prom is "Enchantment Under the Sea". (Don't get too freaked out, Marty McFly.) Equipment has been moved out, seating has been set near tables and walls, and a makeshift stage has been constructed to host the DJing equipment. Quinn has music up until 2010, so a large variety of music will get played. There's plenty of food and drinks - including spiked, and very-much-not-spiked punch (magically protected, thanks to Ilsa). In a corner is a small set up for people who wish to get their photos taken by Tsukasa.

The party is under way - have yourselves a good time, Mayfield!

[Cade is very straight, but has been through too much as a bard to think anything is too "gay" (except like, making out with this guy or something). Though he'd probably enjoy it a lot more if it was a woman he was dancing with. And even more so if that woman was Olivier... oh well.

"I'd be fine with either, if they are. The sharper one would be better."

[Riza is not particularly keen on this whole "prom" event, but she's tagged along dutifully, since Roy was acting as a chaperone. She's no idea that Olivier has essentially set her up with a dance partner as she is currently standing against the wall and watching the younger children dance with a bemused smile.]

[She is approached by a very handsome, well-dressed gentleman she does not know. He bows slightly before her and offers his hand.]

"Pardon me, miss, but General Armstrong told me to find someone called Hawkeye for a demonstration. Would that be you?"

[General Armstrong triggered this request? This seems suspicious.]

What demonstration would that be?

"The battle dance of Or-tel-quessir. It requires a partner with sharp reflexes, nimbleness, dexterity, and the ability to sync her movements in harmony with the partner (me).

Do you think you'd be capable of this?"

[What is this dancing. She doesn't really dance.]

I truthfully don't dance very much. I don't know if I am going to be the best partner for this exercise...

"Well, Olivier lead me to believe that you are a skilled warrior... is this not true?"

[She points across the room, then leans back against the wall.]

[Strides on over to the lovely young woman.]
