PROM, PART 2

Because he can't stop himself from making a movie reference, the theme of this year's Prom is "Enchantment Under the Sea". (Don't get too freaked out, Marty McFly.) Equipment has been moved out, seating has been set near tables and walls, and a makeshift stage has been constructed to host the DJing equipment. Quinn has music up until 2010, so a large variety of music will get played. There's plenty of food and drinks - including spiked, and very-much-not-spiked punch (magically protected, thanks to Ilsa). In a corner is a small set up for people who wish to get their photos taken by Tsukasa.

The party is under way - have yourselves a good time, Mayfield!

[Cade cracks a wide smile and reaches out to pat her on the head.]

"RelaxI'm just giving you a hard time kid."

[Yuna lets out a deep, relieved breath at that. Trolling: successful.]

...Whew, that's a relief.

"Don't worry, I'm not a very vengeful type, Yuna. Though if you pull that again, I may have to prank you back or tickle you or something."

[Cade gives her a playful poke.]

[Yuna lets out a brief giggle at the poke, fidgeting a little in place and looking embarrassed.]

Don't worry, I'll be good!

"Good! Now, tell me, why are you sitting up here by yourself?"

[drank_the_milk]

Just doing a little people watching.

"And what do you see?"

[drank_the_milk]

Um... just people. Dancing.

[adventurerextraordinaire]

"Good! You've successfully watched them, then! Now, go join them"

[Cade gives her a gentle push on the back.]

That's okay, I'm all right just resting for a bit.

"Nonsense! You're young and full of energy! Now get out there!"

[drank_the_milk]

It's okay, really! I'm fine just watching!

"Uh huh..."

[Cade isn't convinced. He's usually kind of a fool but there are some situations he's a bit wiser about.]

"Let me guess: there's someone down there that you fancy, but something else makes you afraid to face them right now?"

It's not a big deal. There's nothing I can do about it anyway.

[Cade smirks.]

"Ok, here are your three options, miss sunbather. One, you go down there and have a good time. Two, you stay up here and talk to me about what's wrong. Or three, you keep being stubborn and leave me no choice but to tickle you until you choose options one or two."

[Yes, Cade is a little weird in the ways he tries to help.]

W-what? But I don't want to do any of those things!

"Well, that's a shame. But you'll thank me later."

[Cade chuckles and wiggles his fingers in the air at her. She better make a decision, quick!]

Okay, okay, I'm going...!

[Yuna fumbles with her shoes, trying vainly to put them on before deciding screw it, picking them up and just skittering down the bleachers and toward the dance floor.]

[Cade stands up and waves as she goes.]

"Good luck, Yuna, you can do it!"

[He wasn't even really going to tickle her if she stayed, but figured she needed the nudge.]
