Because he can't stop himself from making a movie reference, the theme of this year's Prom is "Enchantment Under the Sea". (Don't get too freaked out, Marty McFly.) Equipment has been moved out, seating has been set near tables and walls, and a makeshift stage has been constructed to host the DJing equipment. Quinn has music up until 2010, so a large variety of music will get played. There's plenty of food and drinks - including spiked, and very-much-not-spiked punch (magically protected, thanks to Ilsa). In a corner is a small set up for people who wish to get their photos taken by Tsukasa.

The party is under way - have yourselves a good time, Mayfield!

The wizarding world is so small, I think they figured we'd be okay just going to school together... I think this is more an American thing anyway.

That's interesting. I wonder if the population dispersion is the same for mages in my world as for wizards in yours. Then again, I'm working from American demographics.

There's a couple wizarding schools in America.

Most everyone I know was home-taught, or... wait. A bunch of my summer camp friends were also at a boarding school in Summertown. It was a mixed school, but they did have a mage study track.

Just mages in the magic clasees, but they still had to pass the normal exit exams. Living apart without knowledge of the larger population is just asking for trouble.
