PROM, PART 2

Because he can't stop himself from making a movie reference, the theme of this year's Prom is "Enchantment Under the Sea". (Don't get too freaked out, Marty McFly.) Equipment has been moved out, seating has been set near tables and walls, and a makeshift stage has been constructed to host the DJing equipment. Quinn has music up until 2010, so a large variety of music will get played. There's plenty of food and drinks - including spiked, and very-much-not-spiked punch (magically protected, thanks to Ilsa). In a corner is a small set up for people who wish to get their photos taken by Tsukasa.

The party is under way - have yourselves a good time, Mayfield!

Kinda funny, since I didn't learn to dance until I came here, but I used to go to all the dances at home.

I danced by myself, and in groups, and with boys or girls. The point is to have fun while you do it.

[ She gets a funny little grin with a wrinkled nose, ] preferably without hurting anyone else on the dance floor.

How do you hurt someone else by dancing? Did you step on someone's foot?

Yeah, and not watching where my arms went. Luckily, they were friends who weren't seriously hurt, and were able to forgive the bumps.

I never danced at all. And I think I'd be too embarrassed to dance with a boy.

You could dance by yourself... [ Ilsa notices the blond kid angling over to them. ]... or just dance with friends, who might happen to be boys.
