[open] A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous.

WHO: Feferi Peixes ([personal profile] cullscuttlefish), Martha Jones ([personal profile] yearthatneverwas), Tsukino Usagi ([personal profile] eternalfuture), Sakuya Izayoi ([personal profile] perfectandelegant), Seiga Kaku ([personal profile] desiredriven), and YOU.
WHAT: ~love is blooming~ event
WHERE: Anywhere in Mayfield
WHEN: Anytime during the event
WARNING(S): Kissing. Lots of kissing. Sloppy makeouts, even.

[OOC: How this works? Post a thread - or I'll post one if we have plans - and specify in the subject who you want and when/where. Flower-induced shenanigans will ensue.]

A world of grief and pain:
Flowers bloom;
Even then ...

We humans--
squirming around
among the blossoming flowers.

In this world
we walk on the roof of hell,
gazing at flowers.

[Sexy doesn't hate her job per say. It's mentally stimulating for the most part, it's allowed her to get plenty of firsthand experience in dealing with people and physical anatomy.

She could very easily do without the majority of the drone nurses though. They tend to get persistent if ignored for too long. That's why she's quietly grateful to have Martha and Rory on staff with her. People she's familiar with and quite fond of.

When she comes into work the morning of the 14th she's somewhat perplexed by the abundance of roses at the nurses' station.]

Is it some sort of human tradition to cover every available area in flowers on the fourteenth of the month?

Only in February. It's a holiday that's supposed to celebrate love and all of that! I think it's a bit silly, though.

[There's a pause. How did she not notice those eyes? They're gorgeous. Pardon the staring.]

...maybe not so silly...
