[Coming to work meant avoiding the issue of drones at home, so Dr Wallace has shown up, sourced his office with no small amount of surprise and intends to make the best of things. For now. The sudden appearance of flowers, flowers everywhere is making the back of his throat itch.]

Can you tell me where the dispensary is?

[Feferi nods, but then takes a notebook out of her bag, drawing a square divided into four parts.]

The way we see things, there are four kinds of relationships. It's kind of complex, but I'll explain it the easiest way I know.

[She draws a heart in the first box, and 'Feferi<3Eridan' right below it.]

The first one is matespritship. It means, well, the same thing as the concept of being boyfriend and girlfriend. That's easy enough.

[In the square next to it, she draws a diamond.]

This one is called moirallegiance. It's...well. This is where my feelings for you lie. Mostly. It's when you feel a really strong bond with someone, like a best friend, but it's almost stronger than that. Moirails listen to each others' feelings, try to make each other feel better, and really care about each other.

The other two don't really matter to the conversation so much, but I'll skim over them.

An auspistice - the club - means that you're keeping two people from hurting each other. It's not an easy thing to do, but it's really essential.

The last one...well. If two people have a rivalry strong enough, it can turn into a hate-romance. It's complicated...
