Who: Kariya Matou, Lancer, Rin Tohsaka, residents of 1666 Nelson Street, and all of Rin's friends.
What: A party to prove to Rin that she has friends.
Where: 1666 Nelson Street.
When: Saturday afternoon.
Warnings: Possible tsunsplosion. Action tags to keep things going.

With the help of Lancer, Kariya had managed to get in touch with all of Rin's friends, acquaintances, and anyone else who views her in the slightest favorable light.  The party had been thrown together somewhat at the last minute, but since it's really just a gathering of friends, there actually wasn't that much specific planning to do.  There's plenty of food and drink - both alcoholic and non - set up in the kitchen and dining room area, and a separate table for anyone bringing presents to set them down.  Apart from that, he's just sitting there with the assembled group of Rin's friends, waiting for her to arrive.

[ Bazett sure knows how to end up on Rin's good side; strong magical energy coming from a wrapped present only draws her attention as soon as she's there. In fact, she's hovering around it with an intent gaze. ]

[Bazett has returned to the present table.]

I still have yet to take them out on a test drive. [ She feels subpar as a magus, but she hasn't been in the mood lately. ]

Saber.

[The only Knight Class card she had not fought, in fact.]

[ Quickly looking around to make sure that Lancer didn't hear that. ]

I-Is that so?

[She had not been expecting such an excited reaction.]

[gandere]

Haven't you seen her? She's beautiful.

[ Someone might even say she's Sabersexual. ]

[answerer_sword]

She is. And she is powerful as well. But...a Lancer class is faster and more prana efficient, is it not?

[gandere]

And a pain in the...

[ Composing herself quickly. ] Well, you know what I was going to say. Saber knows how to treat a lady proper.

[answerer_sword]

Oh? If you say so. Then, seeing as how I have given you a Saber, you should be satisfied, right? In exchange, I am willing to take your unruly Lancer off of your hands.

[Even though she says this with a mostly straight face, the corners of her mouth are twitching.]

Do not worry. I will treat him very nicely.

[gandere]

I'd love to, but equivalent exchange is important. I could give you a piece of paper with Lancer drawn on it if you like, but a heroic spirit isn't the same thing as this card.

[ Plus, Lancer would be so ass pained if he found out she traded him in for a piece of paper. ]

[answerer_sword]

That is much better than just a piece of paper.

[It is a piece of paper ripped from the chest of a Heroic Spirit.]

At the very least, I would like something that actually resembles Lancer in form if not mind. Either that, or something torn from the body of a Heroic Spirit.

[gandere]

Geez, you're asking a lot of me. Do you think he'd be happy to hear the two of us talking as though he was some prize to be had?

[ ... ] Actually, he would like that, wouldn't he? The dummy...

I am joking, Tohsaka. But from what I know of Lancer, I suppose he would like the idea of two women fighting over him.

...Perhaps we should take turns and see which he prefers.

[gandere]

Take turns?

[ Now suddenly she's quite defensive over him. ] I don't know... I think I rather decline this card and choose him if that's the case.

[ HOLY SHIT ALERT THE PRESSES. ]

[Bazett stops, seeing how her joke had gone too far.]

I think he would be even happier to hear this. I would not take Lancer from you. The card is a gift, because I lack the ability to control it, if nothing else. Be careful with it, like the other two. And do not hesitate to contact me if they activate by themselves.
