[closed] it's the perfect time of day
Who: Jim Kirk & Aria T'Loak
What: failing at even basic domestic tasks.
Where: 3476 Erwin Road
When: August 8.
Warnings: possible unsavoury language and slightly alcoholic tendencies from Aria.
Waking up to some sort of massive plumbing issue wasn't something Jim was exactly used to, but after a few moments of staring at it in confusion - and missing every Engineer he'd ever known more than he would ever admit (where was Scotty when you really needed him?) - he decided he could fix it. Never mind that he didn't know the first thing about antique plumbing. He was supposed to be capable and competent and Aria certainly wasn't any better off in terms of how to fix it.
So after a quick breakfast and calling into work to advise he wouldn't be in, Jim started on a little diagnostic plan, starting upstairs and working down to the basement. About ten minutes into that basement work, he was calling upstairs.
"Aria! Aria, I need help down here, please."
And when his dear wife came down, hopefully she wouldn't be too surprised to find him up to his knees in water.
