Near the beginning of the month. So probably only a couple of weeks...got first hand experience of what this place was like though. Zombies, not fun.

[ Ilsa frowns. ] That was one of the short ones. I'm afraid we're overdue for one of the long hauls.

No Kidding, you can just feel it from how everyone's acting.

What bothers me is the mention of a carnival. There's several tales from home about transients operating under the cover of darkness being agents of catastrophe.

[ She shrugs. ] Or it could be the powers that be winding us up for fun.

Wouldn't surprise me I guess. They seem to like doing that.
