Who: Poland, Lithuania, Koharu
What: Poland has a brilliant idea that can not wait till Lithuania gets back from work apparently.
Where: The Bakery
When: June 24th
Warnings: Intense nation human making out. Yeah probably nothing.

[So. Talking with Koharu gave Poland some things to think about. Namely how you get a human being to get over the weirdness of liking a personified nation. Also knowing Lithuania, vice versa.

And then suddenly after days of intense thought, it became quite obvious what the answer to the problem was.]

Oh my god Liet! I totally figured it out! [Poland's just going to burst through the front door of the bakery with an encyclopedia in tow, this couldn't wait for Lithuania to get back from work.]

[Lithuania only glances up from the dough he's working on long enough to assure himself that Poland wasn't in the process of breaking or eating anything.]

[Koharu, however, steps back from the tray of cookies she was straightening slash comtemplating and blinks. She glances quickly back at Lithuania and then Poland] ...Was there some sort of mystery or something?

[Poland turns his head, realizing that Koharu is actually here too.] Oh hey Koharu.

Or should I say, The Nation of Koharute! [Opening the encyclopedia page to a map of Eastern Europe, Poland has scribbled a new country encompassing bits of land amongst Lithuania, Belarus, and Ukraine.
He also crossed out everything relating to the USSR since this map is like fifty something years out of date, but that's not the important part.]

Eh? [Lithuania is really not sure what's going on, aside from apparently Poland found out about what he called Koharu that one time and as for the map...]

You can't just hand out land that doesn't belong to you, you know.

...What? [Okay she'll walk over to the encylopedia because what is Poland on] What are you talking about--I'm a human Poland. And--that's not even...

Liet, like don't be greedy it's only a few hundred kilometers or whatever.

No, you can become a micro-nation and then work your way up to nation-nation. All you really need is some land and for us to recognize you. [Or at least Poland assumes that's how it works, this nation forming business was sort of a grey area.]

It's not your few hundred kilometers to give out. [Lithuania moves back to his work, taking out the beginnings of frustration on the dough.] She can't become any kind of nation, anyway, you know--she's not from our world.

I don't want to be a nation--or a micronation Poland, I'm fine being a human really. I don't think it would work like that anyways. [Waving her hands at him, really Poland WHAT ARE YOU DOING]

[Poland purses his lips, blowing air to make a 'pbbt' sound of slight frustration. Lithuania could be so difficult sometimes.]

Fine I'll just give her all of Belarus then. [Poland will just quickly erase and adjust borders.]

What being a nation is totally great and then you don't have to feel guilty anymore! Plus I already recognized you. [Here is your formal letter of recognition from Rzeczpospolita Polska.]

Poland--Poland. [Lithuania isn't sure what he should respond to first here. There are just so many things going wrong in this conversation.]

Why would she feel guilty about not being a nation? And she won't just--suddenly transform into a country because you recognize her, which I'm sure you can't do all on your own. [Why countries have bosses, yet another answer to this question.]

[She really hopes Lithuania can't see her face, because she is mortified and she hisses--HISSES at Poland] Don't do this--I don't want to be a nation, it won't help and I don't need to be recognized.

What? [Poland knows that tone. That's Lithuania's, "Poland what are you doing this is a stupid idea," tone and this is definitely not a stupid idea at all.]

We're not home, it's not like I can ask if it's okay or anything. So that means it's like totally my decision.

[Meanwhile Poland is just totally oblivious to whatever Koharu's hissing tone means so he won't pick up that social cue at all and keep going.] No if you're a nation then you don't have to worry about liking Liet!

What would that have to do with anything-- [Oh, wait, Poland doesn't mean "as a friend", does he? Lithuania blinks. And then decides Poland, who's been trying to get him and Koharu together, is probably just seeing things where there isn't anything to be seen.] Y-you shouldn't just assume things, Poland...

[Koharu goes still. Utterly still. Did he really? Really? What happened to the implied confidence of gossiping during manicures. Koharu was almost certain that was a thing and he had just said that aloud ohgod what does she do. She can't just stand here and how dare he just say it aloud. Mortifying. She just...

She buries her face in her hands and after a second to ponder it, actually hits Poland on the shoulder, lacking a thing to throw.]

I'm not assuming she totally told me she liked you and you totally like her so-- [Feeling Koharu's hand collide with his shoulder didn't hurt, but it did make Poland shut up for a moment.]

[Lithuania would be much less inclined to believe Poland had Koharu not reacted in a way that seemed to imply it was true.] What? ...What?

[NOOOO HE MADE IT WORSE. HOW. HOW COULD HE HAVE POSSIBLY--Why isn't the ground swallowing her up. That is a thing that might actually be able to happen in Mayfield so why isn't it. All attempts at words come out in a muffled squeak and she bats at his shoulder again. Finally she gets words out]

Koharu stop hitting me, I'm like totally helping you and everything.

[Lithuania is not being of help to anyone.]

You aren't helping, you're just making it worse. H-He wasn't--I--[Cue meltdown in three two one--]

I have to go. To go-- [She grabs her bag from the shelf she had tucked it on and heads for the door] Have to go shopping, right. Right, I'll see you--see you later.

[Lithuania finally registers, in some way, what's going on when Koharu heads for the door.] Ah, Koharu-- [Of course, she's already out said door, and Lithuania is still processing what exactly happened in that rapid exchange of information that was the last few minutes. At least, he processes this is Poland's fault.]
