[Sup Harly Quinn? After much arguing, pouting, and practically being dragged out the door, there is a Luke in your office. He doesn't look happy to be here, doesn't think he needs to be here. There was nothing wrong with him after all, and as far as he was concerned he was handling his own problems just fine. He didn't need something like therapy, and he most certainly didn't want to talk about his problems to someone he barely knew.

But yet here he was, arms crossed and pouting. Maybe he wasn't acting like a gentleman right now, but right now he just didn't care.]

I don't need to be here, you know.

I don't know if I can. You don't understand, the first time I was here I was...

[He swallows, a little reluctant to explain himself.]

I wasn't much of a gentleman the last time I was here.

What do you mean?

Because the people I lived with were violent and always causing bloodshed, and I didn't do anything to stop it. Even some of the things I did were pretty awful at times.

And yet, for some reason I still miss them. And I couldn't do anything to protect them.

You know, life is funny like that, isn't it. People can do bad things but you can still like them. There's nothing wrong with that.

And missing them. Well if you cared for them, that's gonna happen anyway. No matter what they were like.

Protect them against the town?

Yeah but...there's gone now and I couldn't do anything. And they may not have been good people, but...they tried so hard to protect me and I couldn't do anything in return.

And now I'm never going to see them again.

That's droning though. You have to look at it as something that no one can do something about.

It's sad, but you can't blame yourself, or think you could have done something different, or tried harder and then maybe they wouldn't be gone.....

'cause it's not true.

[Looks over at him.]

Do you think they would want you to blame yourself for something the town did?

No, I guess not. I just wish I could've done something for them in return for all the things they did for me.

Like what?

I don't know. They always protected me from danger, but our lives were always pretty rough from the kind of things Mayfield did.

[crazyclownwoman]

Yeah, it's annoying like that here.

Well you can't really do anything like that now.....

But you know what. I'm pretty sure they'd be happy with you trying to do your best here. Helping out and trying to escape and things like that.

You could do that for them.
