WHO: Rin Tohsaka (
gandere), Hakuno Kishinami (
doesntgetit), Yuna Akashi (
drank_the_milk), and possibly Heather Mason (
lettertomyfutureself). Additionally, anyone who's crazy enough to enter Rin's room.
WHAT: There are zombies outside. Magic lessons must continue in the form of a sleepover. FFA-tagging.
WHERE: 310 Miller Street.
WHEN: Backdated to zombiefield.
WARNINGS: None.
[ The zombies were annoying. It wasn't the first time that Rin's had to deal with them and while Olney's Tavern would be an ideal place to make her fortress, time constraints prevented her from doing so. They received the call about difficult zombies during mid-magic lesson, which meant Rin wasn't going to let them go due to her conscience. Contrary to popular belief, it does exist, showing up every now and again to remind people of that fact.
So she'll be returning to her bedroom with a large amount of pillows and spare blankets from the linen's closet for her two "apprentices". ]
I managed to scrounge these up, but someone else is going to have to the kitchen for snacks. I have to set up another ward specifically for this kind, so I'll be a little late in returning. The third drawer--[ Pointing to her armoire. ]--has extra pajamas. Get comfortable because I suspect this will be a long night of listening to that stupid phone.

[Yuna walks over to the window to peer outside for a moment before coming back.]
I guess it's probably safer to wait this one out, huh?
no subject
She turns to Rin.]
Is there any way we can help with the ward?
no subject
[ In the meantime, Rin will handle the warding herself. She was taught how to protect Fuyuki City and with her close connection with the Church, this meant the undead was something she could prepare for. Sort of. ]
Let's just try to find a way to be comfortable here. I'll go put up the wards--[ Yes multiple. Since she's on the second floor, she'll protect her room apart from the house. ]--and then we can sip on some tea while this all sorts itself out.
Unless either of you have problems sleeping while there's a bunch of flesh-hungry beasts out there. In that case, I'm sure we have a liquor cabinet here somewhere.

[Hakuno doesn't really have much else to say on that strategy; she's an information gatherer, not a strategy planner.]
But... will the drones know that something is wrong? Or will they just act the same as always?
no subject
No, the drones will act as normal. Why do you think that there are so many out there? That's not us, you know. Well, hopefully that's not us. [ A pause. ] If it us, then those zombies shouldn't really be underestimated.
Well, no point in worrying about it now. All we can do is try to relax and save our energy for when the inevitable fight comes to my bedroom door.

Zombies!
[Yuna steps back against the wall, whipping out her pactio card and getting into a defensive posture.]
no subject
... Of course, she doesn't get to explain that. Instead she freaks out; not as badly as Yuna, but the banging does make her jump and shriek.]
H-Hold on! They couldn't have gotten this close without us noticing... could they?
no subject
[ Seriously you two. Rin would never admit she was spooked, but since watching the other two shriek made her calm down really quick. With a trembling hand, she'll move to take the knob of the door in her hand. ]
... If it is a zombie though, you two better be prepared to beat it up or else!
no subject
I think I'd know if I was a zombie...

[Yuna lowers her pactio card, taking another step toward the door.]

Didn't they say these zombies were clever? Maybe they've learned how to speak and they're going through all of this trouble so that they can ambush us in the hallway instead of us ambushing them.
[ Troll mode is go. ]

[...]
I'm gonna open the door. Cover me, okay?
[Though, let's be safe about it. With a quick 'adeat' Yuna transforms into her gunner costume, taking one pistol in hand while using the other to sign some completely meaningless gestures to Rin and Hakuno, pointing at her eyes and then at both of them and then at the door. She saw it in a movie once, okay?
AND THEN SHE OPENS THE DOOR]

She lets out a sigh of relief she didn't even realize she was holding when she saw the very real, non-zombie girl standing on the other side of the door.]
Sorry about that. But can you blame us for being cautious?
no subject
I hope you brought your own pillow. [ That's her way of inviting Heather to join their magic-lesson-now-sleepover as she plops down in a chair lazily. More importantly though: ] You didn't show up to tell me there's a zombie on our lawn, did you?
no subject
Figure it's safer in here. Vincent's disappeared like he usually does, so no worries about him screwing anything up.
no subject
Well, that's a relief! Guess we should get comfortable while we're all stuck inside, anyway. I'm gonna use some of those spare pajamas, okay Rin?
[Without waiting for an answer, since she already offered earlier, Yuna fishes out a pair of PJs and heads for the door.]
I'll be back in a few minutes. Oh, and my name's Yuna! Nice to meet you!
[Smiling, she tosses off a casual saluting gesture to the new girl before heading off to get changed.]

[Didn't zombies usually travel in, like, hordes? Kinda weird that there'd only be one...]
Ah, and I'm Hakuno.
no subject
[ Sighing, she'll stretch out her arms. ]
Where did you get a gun, Heather? [ Forget the introductions, Rin's going to focus on the weapon. ] And do you really know how to use that thing?
no subject
As for the gun, I had someone buy me this semi-automatic weeks ago from the store. I know how to use it... had to learn by necessity back home.
no subject
Whew, that's better! Now I feel like I can finally relax a little. At least until the zombies show up, anyway.
[Grinning, she heads over to sit down crosslegged on the floor in the middle of the room.]
So, what are we gonna do to try not to go crazy while we're all stuck in here?

[ Two pupils + two not pupils meant this was a good time to test not only their accuracy, but their mental tolerance. ]

I'll do it if you guys want! I haven't had a sleepover where we did that kinda stuff for years, it'll be fun!
