[having your brain scrambled sucks. trying to figure out just what on earth you were thinking running around town claiming to be some kind of Sherlock Holmes sucks more. having to go to school while trying to sort this out sucks even more than that.

but what sucks more than any of that is getting droned because you missed too much school, which is why Len is in the clasroom, staring blankly at the blackboard and pretending to pay attention to the lesson.]

[Gakupo still isn't certain what happened these past few days, but here he is. Teaching inattentive students. Like Len.

Tilting his head, he walks over to Len and waves a hand in front of his face..]

Earth to Len! Do you read me? Over.

♪ Wah! Uh, yeah, yeah! Loud and clear.

What are you doing here? Schools not in session anymore.

[roadrolling]

♪ ... Since when?!

[thepurpleway]

Probably since Friday, since the 3rd is a Sunday.

[roadrolling]

♪ Ugh, stupid town... scrambling my memories like that!

... What're you doing here then, Gakupo?

I'm here to pick up my things. I seemed to have left them...although I don't know why I did.

[roadrolling]

[gathering up his stuff. NO SENSE BEING HERE IF SCHOOL'S OUT :/]

♪ I think you were acting weird the last couple days, too. Stupid place got us both.

[thepurpleway]

Was I? [Goes back over to his desk to finish packing up.] I don't...remember that well.

[roadrolling]

♪ Yeah, I remember pretty much what happened! You hung meat all over the place. And I thought I was some kind of detective, I think? I can't really remember what I was thinking.

I remember really wanting a magnifying glass, though.

...ah...right...it explains why I keep smelling meat and barbecue sauce...and something else that's burnt.

[roadrolling]

♪ That'd be the firecrackers.

[hefts his backpack over his shoulder]

♪ Well, I guess I'm heading back to Rin's house today... I hope I can figure out where I'm supposed to be living now before Mayfield drones me.

[Gakupo pauses and looks to Len.]

...don't you know where you live now?

[roadrolling]

♪ No, I think I got moved out while I was staying with Rin. And it was right before the memory scramble, too. I just remember going to 461 Stone and the drones there treating me like a stranger.

You don't happen to have any idea, do you?

[thepurpleway]

That's kind of rude that no one sends you a letter. You're actually living with me now. [Continues fixing up his briefcase.] I remember seeing your picture everywhere in my house, so...yes.

[roadrolling]

♪ --whoa, what? Really?!

[thepurpleway]

You're in all the pictures at home, so I'm pretty sure. [Closes his briefcase once he's done.] SO! Ready to go home~? [Cheeky smile!]

[roadrolling]

♪ Ehhh, I guess.

[he's actually really relieved to know where he's staying, but he's not going to admit that when Gakupo's being cheeky about it :I]

You also have a younger brother. He's quite nice!

[roadrolling]

♪ Drone nice or actual person nice?

[thepurpleway]

♪ I had to check! [don't look at him with that tone of voice!!]

I wouldn't have said he's nice if he was a drone. I would have said he is a drone.

[roadrolling]

♪ You could've been messing with me. I probably would've.

... so what's his name?

Do you honestly think I'd stoop that low? Besides, you're not Gumi.

His name is Hajime. I think he has magical powers.

[roadrolling]

[defensive shrug]

♪ I dunno! Me and Rin mess with you a lot even if you're not exactly our brother. Like when I said you were turning into a drone.

... Magical powers?

Let's never bring that up again. [Gumi somehow didn't think of him as insane. Just in need of a new hobby.]

He can teleport, I think. Or at least disappear on whim. It's strange!

[roadrolling]

♪ Yeah, yeah. Sorry.

So yes, I hope you both can get along. [Opens the door to exit.]

[roadrolling]

♪ He's gotta be better than a drone, at least.

I'd like to think so. It's not like I interact with drones often.

[roadrolling]

♪ Well, there's one less for you to worry about, huh!
