Who:Pinkie Pie, Queen Chrysalis, and YOU! (AKA anyone Pinkie might have conceivably invited)
What: Chrysalis's Welcome to Mayfield party!
Where: The Park!
When: A few days after Pinkie offered to host a party for Chrysalis!
Warnings: It is a Pinkie Pie party. With Chrysalis. That should be warning enough.

It's a beautiful day in the park, and Pinkie has set up a large area for Chrysalis's party! She's got a giant sign saying "WELCOME TO MAYFIELD QUEEN CHRYSALIS" staked out behind a bunch of tables piled high with cakes and cupcakes. A few small party games have been set up at various areas, and there is another table where Pinkie has rigged a battery-operated radio to an improvised set of speakers she may or may not have pulled out of her drone family's car.

Pinkie made sure to tell everypony in town about the party, and she's ready to have a good time! Feel free to join in!

[Applejack shows up at the park, seeing Chrysalis hanging back on the edge of the party. She trots on over to say hello.]

Well howdy there! Had a feeling Pinkie would be doing this after running in to ya. So what are you waiting for? You're the guest of honor after all!

[Look out, hesitate too long and Applejack might start pushing you towards the party...]

[While the ponies aren't her most favorite people, she's rather glad to have Applejack to talk to instead of just Pinkie.

Of course, if she had her way, she'd be anywhere but here, but she had to play nice for now.]

She does this often?

Pretty much whenever she gets the chance. Parties for ponies and making them smile is pretty much what Pinkie lives for.

You should have seen how quickly she put together a party for Twilight when she first arrived in Ponyville.

[Chrysalis looks a bit surprised at the mention of Twilight's party.]

Even faster than this?

Yep. 'Bout half a day. But then, most folks in Ponyville are use to Pinkie throwing welcoming parties, so that probably helped her set it up at the library so fast like that.

She certainly is persistent about those sort of things, isn't she?

She sure is. It's her special talent after all.

Oh, but you know, Ah didn't know you were a queen. Just where in Equestria did you say you were from again?

[This was problematic, but she could lie her way out of this.] Oh, it's someplace far from Canterlot, you probably haven't heard of it.

Maybe, but you'd be surprised! The Apple family has orchards all over Equestria, so one of mah relatives might live close!

Go on, try me, if Ah haven't heard of it, it'd be interesting to see if any of mah kin live by.
