Toei Battling

[There was a certain tenseness as Rin bodily carried Nozomi out for training, as well as the box that was sitting in her hands. She wanted to do this with supervision and with Shoutarou promising to give her some tips, they had brought their powers with them as well as a few other things. It was a short wait for Shoutarou to show up, and they had put up some signs reading 'Training, please stand back' on the trees around them.]

It's early enough to birds not to be awake--hey Nozomi don't fall asleep on me!

[At that, Nozomi let out a big yawn, obviously still half-asleep.]

But, Rin, it's still early! Why did we have to go out now?

[nozomisitter]

Because it's the best time to train before anyone woke up. C'mon Nozomi.

Oh, alright... [And there's another big yawn from her. Jeez, so early!]

[sinistraljoker]

There you two are.

[Shoutaro hides his own yawn. It's kinda early for him too.]

Are you ready?

[nozomisitter]

Yeah for the most part. [Prods Nozomi.] I brought the mask too. Did you bring us anything to fight or are we fighting you, Shoutarou?

[Nozomi jumps a bit, wide-eyed and looking around] Huh?! I'm awake! Really!

[And now, she spots Shou.] Oh, hi!

[sinistraljoker]

I did.

[He tosses a small bag with some cell medals in it onto the ground in front of them.]

Now...this is going to be dangerous. These CANNOT leave the area. Do you understand?

[nozomisitter]

Got it. I'm counting on you to help monitor this. Were you able to get anyone else to help out as well?

[Nozomi looks down, blinking]

...wait, we're going to be training with coins?

[sinistraljoker]

You'll see.

I had hoped some of the others would've shown up, but no one yet. Maybe later though.

[Out comes the Driver. It clicks snugly around his waist.]

First off though...transform if you would?

[nozomisitter]

All right, let's transform, Nozomi! [Rin's already making the arm motions as her own device flips open.] Precure...!

[With a nod, Nozomi follows suit - she's too tired to argue at the moment and they never decided on a leader before they ended up here, did they?]...Metamorphosis!

[And with that, Nozomi transformed into Cure Dream]

Henshin!

[JOKER!]

[nozomisitter]

[Standing there, she went into her route.]

The Red Flames of Passion, Cure Rouge!

The Great Power of Hope, Cure Dream!

[After a few moments, Nozomi blinks as she looks around and sighs a bit.]

...doesn't feel right without the others.

There's even a roll call, huh?

Ok then, if we're settled. Let's begin.

[Shoutaro bends down and picks up a cell medal.]

Get ready now.

[And snap goes the medal.....]

[nozomisitter]

[Rin prepares herself. She doesn't know what kind of thing would rise from that action, but she was ready to find out. Hopefully the adrenaline would keep Nozomi from falling asleep.]

...what are we dealing with exactly?

[sinistraljoker]

[Shoutaro waited as he tossed the broken halves to the ground.]

Any second...

[And there it goes. One Yummy lumbers in front of the girls.]

[nozomisitter]

[Bandages.

Black form.

No face.

Rin couldn't help it: she screamed in fear.] NOZOMI GET IT GET IT GET IT!

[Oh, now it did it - Rin's her best friend and, even if it was for training, it DID scare her.]

I'll make you regret scaring my best friend!

[And with that, Nozomi lunges at the Yummy, throwing a powerful punch at the creature.]

[sinistraljoker]

H-huh?

[Well...that he wasn't expecting.]

[The Yummy groans as Nozomi lashes into it, bending back in agony.]

[nozomisitter]

S-sorry! It l-l-looks so much like a ghost! I hate ghosts!

[Rin was trembling, holding her arm as she huddled down.]

[Nozomi looked back at Rin, giving her a reassuring smile.]

Don't worry, everything'll be okay! I got this!

[And with that, she ends up throwing another punch, intending on dropping it to the ground.]

It's not a ghost at all. This is a Yummy. It's a monster made of pure desire. Usually they're made by creatures called Greeed, who are similar to them, but far more sentient and powerful.

But these particular ones are referred to as 'Trash' Yummies. They're basically the weakest these things can get.

[The Yummy flies back.]

Usually, I'm on the side destroying these things though. So, quite frankly, I'm doing this quite warily.

[Dammit Date. You had to put this idea in his head, didn't you?]
