Because he can't stop himself from making a movie reference, the theme of this year's Prom is "Enchantment Under the Sea". (Don't get too freaked out, Marty McFly.) Equipment has been moved out, seating has been set near tables and walls, and a makeshift stage has been constructed to host the DJing equipment. Quinn has music up until 2010, so a large variety of music will get played. There's plenty of food and drinks - including spiked, and very-much-not-spiked punch (magically protected, thanks to Ilsa). In a corner is a small set up for people who wish to get their photos taken by Tsukasa.

The party is under way - have yourselves a good time, Mayfield!

[He kind of expected his heart to start jackhammering at this point. To just beat at rapid fire. But it's a slow, steady pace, almost painfully slow. And everything just. Seems. To freeze.

He breathes in. Out. In. Out.

And then moves to meet hers. And it's so slow and he doesn't know if that's because he's moving slow, or if time has somehow slowed down, or what.

But he keeps moving. Until he's within distance to brush his lips against hers.]

Not everyone thinks that way Masters. Some will do whatever it takes to be with the ones they care about. Especially if the one they care about is dead in their world.

[Bazett...looks very different from how Carried might remember her. Her hair is tousled and she is wearing a dress. In addition, she has a big smile plastered on her face.]

[It isn't Pokey's either, although he hasn't kissed much before hand either. And even if it isn't the first? It might as well be with how nervous he is as their lips touch.

His eyes close as they touch. And he just can't open them. Because if he does he's so scared that everything has been a dream and he'll just open his eyes to see himself back in that stupid, blank room back on Ricardo Street.]

[Kissing doesn't go very much farther than lip-touching in the world of preteen girls, and she ends the kiss rather quickly anyway out of embarrassment.

She doesn't know what to do next. The last boy she liked and kissed, she got to wipe his memories afterward. Somehow, she felt as if this was going to be slightly more of a commitment.]

[That's just fine with him. He looks back down at his feet under the impression of making sure to lead, but it's more to hide the fact of the blush that's starting to form.

He's happy enough to just be quiet and lead the dance a bit more. Hell, if she's still stepping on his toes at all, he doesn't realize it.

It's just the happiest he's been in a long, long time.]

[Jenny can tell. Cade wears his emotions on his sleeve. Aft er a few moments she sighs and slaps Cade on the back before pulling a small travel sized bottle of vodka from her dress. (Yes, she had it hidden down that front.)]
