Because he can't stop himself from making a movie reference, the theme of this year's Prom is "Enchantment Under the Sea". (Don't get too freaked out, Marty McFly.) Equipment has been moved out, seating has been set near tables and walls, and a makeshift stage has been constructed to host the DJing equipment. There's plenty of food and drinks - including spiked, and very-much-not-spiked punch (magically protected, thanks to Ilsa). In a corner is a small set up for people who wish to get their photos taken by Tsukasa.

The party is under way - have yourselves a good time, Mayfield!

What the fuck do you think you're doing? Byakuran you bastard!

He's too surprised to even pull out any knives at the moment. ]

[That face was priceless. That he had not done this sooner? But then again, what place would be greater than on the dance floor, in front of his most likely boyfriend. He turned to Niou, a smirk on his lips.]

So the prince is serving you this evening~

[ Niou's jaw goes tight. The hand that's not pulling Bel closer to him flexes at his side. ]

Get lost.

[ Finally Bel snaps out of it. ]

I am not yours, bastardo.

[creepinacup]

[He ignores Niou's comment completely. Go away now would not be fun.]

Oh, your not? You sure had your way with me last time~

[ Fuck.

That lid he keeps sealed over his temper? Yeah, it just flew out the window.

His left hand tightens into a fist. He steps forward, swings, and lands a punch on Byakuran's jaw. ]

[ He had just pulled out a handful of knives, to repeat what happened 'last time', but Niou's punch reaches Byakuran before he can throw them.

Wow, he didn't expect that. ]

[creepinacup]

[That was a bit unexpected. He had thought that Bel would try to stab him. But instead the other boy hit him.]

Fufufu~ You have a good swing~

[Trust Byakuran to laugh at being hit in the face.]

Yeah? Wanna see it again?

[ He lunges forward and starts to swing again. ]

[ It seems like he'll find out how much of a fighter Niou is. Lucky thing Byakuran's still powerless, or there would have been a hell of a lot of trouble.

He's ready to throw his knives in case Niou needs it. ]

[creepinacup]

[Byakuran avoids the punch. One time is enough and he could taste blood from the last punch.]

Now, now, this is not the time for these kind of games~ But I promise that I can play with you another day~

[ Niou catches himself before he can stumble forward. ]

If you don't want your ass kicked, leave.

[ And if Byakuran doesn't go this time, Niou's going to keep swinging until someone stops him. ]

[ Knives stay raised. Because if Byakuran do stay, he's going to turn him into a pin cushion. ]

Fuck off, Byakuran.

[ And it's just now that he remebers that he forgot to tell Niou what Byakuran looks like when he warned him. ]

I don't think you can kick my ass, boy~

[But before he gave Niou the chance to try he had disappeared among the people. This was not a good time or place to get serious.]

[ He seriously considers going after him. But his hand is still throbbing from when he punched him.

He exhales slowly and flexes his hand. ]

Fuck.

[ Once Byakuran is gone, Bel lowers his knives and puts them back where he got them.

He gives Niou a slight grin. ]

Ain't you one shining knight~

[ Then he takes Niou's wrist, pulling him toward the tables with drinks and food. Better get ice on that. ]

[ Niou lets himself get pulled along. He's still pretty pissed off, and it's not helping that his hand hurts. ]

It's a first. I'm usually the villain.

[princecreepshow]

[ Bel can totally understand why he's pissed off. Bel's so going to kill Byakuran again next time he sees him. ]

Should the Prince feel honored~?

[ Niou tries a slight grin. ]

Hell yes he should. He should also feel bad, because my hand hurts.

[ Okay, it doesn't hurt that bad. He's mostly just trying to be annoying. ]

The Prince doesn't feel bad.

[ Well, he hasn't this far into his life. ]

But he can help you with that.

[ Here, have some ice pressed to the hand. ]

He should.

[ Niou lets the ice settle against his hand, suppressing the shiver that tries to follow.

He doesn't say it, but his 'thank you' is implied. ]

The Prince doesn't usually do what he should do.

[ Like not killing assassins whereever he went, even if Mammon told him it was bad for all those silly reasons. ]

Yeah, I've noticed.

[ Like stabbing Fran even when Niou said not to. But Niou doesn't really expect Bel to listen to him.

He wonders if this is ever how Yagyuu feels with him. ]

[ The frog deserved it. ]

Why would I do what others tell me when I can just do whatever I want to~?

Maybe because stabbin' people is generally frowned upon.
