The log will be split into two entries to keep the size manageable. In this thread is the Dance Floor, Food & Drinks Table, and Outside/Around the Rec Center!

Because he can't stop himself from making a movie reference, the theme of this year's Prom is "Enchantment Under the Sea". (Don't get too freaked out, Marty McFly.) Equipment has been moved out, seating has been set near tables and walls, and a makeshift stage has been constructed to host the DJing equipment. There's plenty of food and drinks - including spiked, and very-much-not-spiked punch (magically protected, thanks to Ilsa). In a corner is a small set up for people who wish to get their photos taken by Tsukasa.

The party is under way - have yourselves a good time, Mayfield!

[ He was happy the drones wasn't there. Most of all the drone-wife of his. It was just awkward looking at her face since she was droned.

And this was a nice change to working at the tavern.

But he can't keep away from the drinks.

And when he saw the food, he felt like cooking, too. His pasta was great, after all.

While inspecting the food, he mumbles to himself. ]

Shrimp, tomato, aah, what seasoning do they have here anyway...?

[He totally wasn't standing by the food so that he could spy on the ones that passed without their knowledged and listen to the random conversations that they had. One man was drawing his atention by his words.]

Planing on cooking something~?

[ Basco looks up, and blinks. ]

What?

[ No, he wasn't aware of the fact that he was talking out loud. ]

You was talking about tomato and shrimps~ I only assumed that you was planning on cooking something~

Oh, yes, I do, actually.

What is you planning on making~?

Pasta, of course~ It's my speciality~

Oh, it is~? I tend to be more skilled when it comes to desserts~

Yes it is~ Mabe-chan loves it, that's for sure. [ Well, did, anyways. Though he probably still did. ]
Oh? Is that so?

Mabe-chan? Is he a friend of yours~?
Ah, yes~ I have a thing for sweets~

Yes, he's over there. [ And he points in the flashy guy in red. ] Most likely waiting for his woman.

I myself prefer spicy things, really.

[Marvelous is over at the food table, stuffing his pockets with anything dry, grinning like a kid in a toy store. He's a teeeeny bit buzzed. Enough to even approach Basco on his own.]

I should've figured you'd poke your nose in here.

[ Oh? ]

[ He grins. ]

Of course I have to. I am looking forward to see what havoc people cause this time around~

Havoc? It's just a party.

[He'll chew on a small sandwich.]

You weren't here for Homecoming, were you?

[ Looks over the food again, but decide to take some of that spiked ounch instead. ]

Nope. What happened then?

[He'll take a flask out. Some of Ambrosia's rum.]

A lot. Hmm... I think I was pretty drunk back then. Greed-chan poured a lot into that punch. [ Well, he had ended up making out with a guy or two.. ] Can't a lot happen in general here in Mayfield, anyway? Things really unexpected, for example. [ Oh he's keeping his eyes on that bottle. ]

So you got sloshed and can't really remember what happened.

[Figures. He'd been expecting something a tad more exciting.]

True enough. But tonight, I'm just gonna relax.

[Another sip. Damn this stuff is good.]

I remember some things.

[ Just watch it or Basco will try to get you drunk and see what happens, Marvelous-chan. ]

Hopefully~ If you don't make it too showy~

[I'm sure his date will have some very sharp things in store for Basco if that happens.]

I can be both at the same time.

[ Of course she will. But Basco likes her anyway - or rather - he likes her better with a sharp tongue. ]

[Quinn's hovering over the table to get some food, and bring it back to his DJ station, when he hears someone mumbling about the food.]

Ya need to talk to a lady named Ilsa. She did most of the cooking.

[ And he looks up. ]

Oh, is that so?

Yep, her and Dakki. They're both really good. I'm gonna stuff my face real fast before headin' back to my station.

I guess I should talk to them, then. Thanks for telling me, err...? I'm afraid I don't know your name.
