Who: Tieria Erde and Hiling Care

Hiling waited until a couple hours after Tieria went to bed before she approached the door to his room. She had come up with a plan and though she hadn't given it much thought, she decided to act on it. She listens for the sound of his breathing and then slowly reaches for the door handle to see if it's unlocked.

With that, she grabbed hold of his leg and tried to stab it, taking a kick to the stomach in the process. Gritting her teeth, she kept trying. She needed his blood one way or another.

He yelled, loudly, as she managed to catch him, the momentum of his roll sliding him right off the bed and on top of her. He scrambled as best he could to get his footing, pulling away from her so he could face her. He didn't bother calling for help, since the other non-drone in the house didn't seem to care what either one of them did around here if it didn't directly affect him.

That would do. She grunted with the impact, dropping the knife. Next she would need to collect the blood. She didn't hear glass breaking in her pocket, so that was a good sign. She tried to get out from under him.

"Get off of me!"

He was already working on that. In fact, he moved away from her as fast as he could, but not without a kick to her side for good measure.

"What are you doing?!"

"What does it look like I'm doing?"

Catching her breath, she lunged at him, striking with her elbow. She was determined to subdue him so she could get what she wanted.

"Staging another unprovoked attack," he snapped, bringing his arms up to block. Of course, elbow bone against his forearms still hurt. He grunted, pushing back against her with his arms and working his way to his feet.

"Get. Out."

She wasn't about to leave when she's come so close. Running at him, she tackled him, trying to get a grip and pin him down.

"Ga-!" He fell back, his stabbed leg buckling a little at the sudden extra weight, and landed heavily on the bed. "Get off!" he snapped, struggling against her.

"Just a minute..." Gripping his leg, she squeezed the wound to gather his blood into a small vial. Once she capped it, she let him go and stepped back.

He tried to pull away because that hurt, damn it, and just what was she doing anyway? He sat back up quickly, defensive and confused by her actions.

"What was all that about?!"

She went over to pick up the knife, cleaning it off on her shirt. There was no need to make use if it anymore. She looked back at him.

"I'll tell you if you promise not to be mad at me."

"I am already mad at you," he snapped, pressing his hand now against the leg wound. "You attacked me in my sleep with a knife. It is not exactly something people do not get mad over for any reason."

Fine then be mad. She shrugged. "You're probably going to need stitches.

A few choice words from his time with humans suddenly came to mind of what he could call her right now.

"And just who's fault is that?" Oh, yes... he was very angry now. "What was the point of this?" Demanding, as well... very demanding.

She sighed. Might as well tell him. Maybe it would shut him up. She was certain she would never her the end of it if she didn't. "It's not fair of you to hoard all the nanomachines to yourself. I want some too."

"Nanomachines?!" He stared at her rather incredulously. "You do realize that the ones used in Innovades were not created for human use, correct? You cannot use them as you are now."

"I don't think you realize the value. I know of people who would love to get their hands on this."

"You cannot go selling things like that! These are our secrets!" Did she realize what she was doing? She was setting herself up for a potential security threat to herself if she ever got her Innovade body back like he had.

"Isn't that just too bad." How dare he suggest that her plan was as flawed as it was.

"And if the person you sell these to turns on you? You do realize the vulnerabilities in your plan, do you not?" Because, really, she couldn't be that shortsighted.

"What are they going to do? I have a mobile suit." That was good enough for her.

"And if they discover a way to control the nanomachines?" Really, Hiling. He was just trying to get you to think. A lot of damage could be caused if someone could take control of those nanomachines.

"That's impossible." Even if it was, it would be Tieria's problem, not hers.

"We cannot be too careful here." He frowned and checked the leg wound to see if it was still bleeding heavily. "You should really consider long term consequences more often."

I still think the benefits outweigh the risks. [She's not going to change her mind.]

"You are also the one who thought attacking me with a knife in my sleep was a good idea, too," he snapped.

"It worked. That's all that matters." He should be glad she didn't have more fun with it.

He glared at her. "Then, when next someone needs something from you, I hope they do the same." Yeah, he went there. He was pretty pissed, after all.

Eh? She tilted her head. That sounded like a challenge. "Let them. I won't go easy on them like you."

Right. He just glared at her.

"Get out."

"It's not too late to slit your throat."

She licked her blade, grinning at him.

There was now a well-aimed shoe coming for her head.

"Get out!"

"As you wish." She dodged the shoe and laughed as she backed towards the door to leave.

"Sleep well, Tieria Erde."
