Entry tags:
another year has passed and I'm alright; (OPEN)
WHO: Rin Tohsaka (
gandere), Shiki Ryougi (
ryougi), and a few of her close CR. (Will add character names when they tag in)
WHAT: Day one of the event
WHERE: Throughout Mayfield
WHEN: January 25th
WARNINGS: Angst. Gore.
The first time Rin notices something is Most Definitely Wrong is when she awakens in the night due to a stab wound in her stomach. No one had entered the home, she knows this much, and it bothers her to think that the only person who could have done such a thing is her Servant. This sort of wound is nothing for her though as she heals it easily.
Later on in the morning she's tired of the phone ringing and leaves the house. There's no point to going to school after the incident of the night before. No, she'll sneak in tomorrow if she has a chance and spare herself from getting droned. After the night before, there's no way she can risk it.
Visiting with a couple of individuals is key to survival, so Rin will make her way towards the homes of those she knows. It's a simple gesture that will save herself a lot of trouble later on down the road. The knowledge to know who stands where is important and she doesn't stop despite what sickness creeps up on her.
It's when she's surveying the changes to Makeout Point does she start to feel feverish, the nausea overwhelming her. This feeling is easily recognizable as radiation poisoning. Unlike before though, she has her full abilities and is able to overcome it. Purging it was a simple matter, but now she's just full of confusion.
During the evening is when her condition worsens.
OOC; Rin's traveling the neighborhood and workplaces of those she's considered close to in preparation of what may happen. If your character can't handle her with a giant hole in her chest, please tag prior to the evening prompt. If you don't want to come up with a setting, just do a blank tag. I'll fill in the blanks.

"I've heard people screaming at each other, but paying attention to it has been kind of difficult. Do you want to tell me what you did?"

He moves gingerly with her, supporting her.
"It certainly looked like it, though magical scanning and my own senses on the matter were less than conclusive. I took the risk, figuring anything the town wanted to keep intact was an instrument of control, and cast it down into ruins."

Rin's seen both of the machines up close and while the darkness of the latter one made it difficult to see it, it didn't seem like the vault from before to her. Plus, she was unable to really detect anything supernatural in the air around it, just that strange force field.
"So you were able to break through that field that was guarding it?" Now that's worth her interest as she looks up to him. "How?"

Space Marines don't believe in overkill. They ARE overkill.
"It appeared to be part of the mechanism from last year, the generator, not the vat."

Just as expected, she has complaints about his methods.
"Thoroughly destroyed.. Well, at least you're efficient. Even if it's costing us. I can't help but wonder if this was their intent all along."
