Who: Haruhi Suzumiya, the SOS Brigade (mandatory meeting) and you!
What: A mandatory meeting for the SOS Brigade, plus visitors - basically, an all-out games tournament.
Where: John Doe Park.
When: In the afternoon today, March 28th.
Warnings: Lots of abuse, penalties, and maybe some stripping.



[After school, today's brigade meeting will be held outside - at John Doe park! Laid out are several bags full of various games, as well as food (made by the brigade leader), and places to sit. Thankfully, there are nice picnic tables...

So, who's ready for same game busting?

You better not lose.]

(OOC: Assume that Haruhi made an announcement about this on the phones throughout last week and this week, put out posters, etcetera. To keep this organized, please put up a new thread for each game + instructions how to play.)

[She tents her fingers over the deck.]

[She pulls a chair over and sits down.]

[A slow nod.]

[Lightning quick, a card is slammed down in front of the girl.]

[answerer_sword]

[Bazett eyes the girl warily before snatching up the card with one quick motion.]

I need two for my initial hand.

[A pause before Yuki repeats the gesture. She was instructed to give one card upon hearing the phrase "hit me." A little too much to the letter, really. Yuki deals to herself, eyes her own cards, and waits.]

[Bazett observes the two cards that she had been given. One King of Hearts and the other a Four of Spades.]

I take it I should take my turn first?

[Nod.]

I have been instructed to allow you to do so.

What are we wagering?

[She does not see chips or any other manner of currency.]

[Yuki reaches down to a small pail beside the blackjack table and pulls out a piece of candy, holding it up high to see.]

Three consecutive victories over the dealer.

And if you win three times?

[The most minute of shrugs.

and a long pause.]

Nothing.

[answerer_sword]

I see...

[She throws down both of her cards, face up.]

I'll stand.

[Now she watches her opponent to see which cards the girl would set down.]

[A king and queen of hearts appeared within the second, Yuki not once averting her gaze to observe them.]

It's my win.

[Bazett's cards added up to 17, but her opponent's added up to 25. While it was the bigger number, it had surpassed 21 and therefore was rendered the losing hand.]

Hit me.

[She sits back and waits for the dealer to reshuffle the cards and the hand her two new cards.]

[Affirming Bazett's victory, the interface nods and pulls up a small chalkboard from on the the table, scratching in a single tally with a loose pice of chalk. Yuki then shuffles the card in a very mechanic fashion. It's almost more like she's dicing meat than cutting cards.

She throws out both of their hands with the same level of expedition as earlier.]
