What: Varon takes Fujino to meet his surrogate mother.

The night was a good time to unwind from the terrible days that rang true their insidious nature that was hidden under the surface. This time, Varon's purpose became more clear. He needed to make sure that the people that were close to him were finding their own way. He has a girlfriend to protect and nurture out of her shell.

However, he wasn't about to have her meet just anyone. He was taking her to meet Ambrosia, his surrogate mother/big sister figure. He needed to heal his heart in the only way he felt was the best for all parties. By this means, he wanted to get the people that he cared about to come together and know each other.

Seeing Fujino always made him smile. The progression was a slow one but not without its own benefits. He reached up to knock on the front door of Ambrosia's home but not without stealing a glance toward Fujino's direction with a smile. "I think you'll like her."

This was also another first. Varon has never met Marvelous so this would be a first time meeting the man that has Ambrosia's heart. It might offer him some insight on how a relationship worked instead of just winging it like he had been.

After going out for St. Patrick's Day and abusing the hell out of Marvelous' work discount, Ambrosia was enjoying being home with yet another Shirley Temple in her hand and she was sat on the couch. While not having a lick of alcohol this day sucked, she was getting through it for the most part. Though, she had to wonder what everyone else was doing this night since the holiday was mostly foreign to the pirate.

However, what snapped her out of her thoughts was a knock on the door. She placed her glass down and went to take one of her sabers that were resting against the couch in her hand and crept closely to the door. She looked through the window and saw Varon and... Fujino?

Well, wasn't this a pleasant surprise! As Ambrosia sighed a breath of relief, she went to open the door with a smile on her face.

"Yo, Varon! What brings ye here?"

"Someone there?"

Marvelous, unlike Ambrosia, was feeling kinda of buzzed at the moment, since he was self-designated drinker for the night.

Fujino, to be frank, was rather nervous, as much as she tried not to show it on her face. Even if Varon's tone told her that Ambrosia must be a pretty nice person, it didn't stop her from being anxious about meeting a new person, especially since now she was able to feel anything.

When Ambrosia opened the door, she nearly almost said "hello", but stopped herself just in time, since she hadn't been addressed yet.

Varon's hand instinctively squeezed Fujino in a gentle and reassuring way to let her know that she's not alone. He addressed Ambrosia with a smile and a nod. "Well, since we were out an' about, just thought we'd pay ya a visit. If it's a bother we can come back another time."

He looked to Fujino and smiled. "Fujino, this is Ambrosia. Ambrosia, this is Fujino." He felt a little strange about the introduction but at least it was a start toward the path of politeness since he felt like he was being watched by who knows who.
