[not even three months since Rin's last concert! nobody could ever fault the Kagamines for a lack of ambition. especially not when it's both of them this time. human or not, their enthusiasm as they step out onto the backyard stage promises a great show. the lights go up, and they launch into their first duet in Mayfield.]

Mm, can understand that feelin'. [As much as she felt like a caged tiger here and she knew Vanille would ease that feeling, Fang wasn't sure she'd want to subject the other woman to it either if the stories she'd been hearing were true.]

Not long. Yaself? [It was a pretty vague answer but one she'd prefer to give for now.]

Almost a month, now. I guess that's not long, as well. [How long was 'not long'? Should he inquire? But she didn't say more than that. It would be rude to ask! Ah, Gakupo is conflicted, and it shows.]

'aven't run int' many that've been 'ere much longer than that. [It seemed like only a couple people had been around more than a couple months, at least, out of everyone she's met so far that is.]

There are people who have been here for years, like them. [Nudges his chin over to the stage, where Rin and Len were performing.] I couldn't believe it when they told me...

[Whoa, wait wait wait... Her eyes travel in the direction indicated. Years? They don't look very old at all.... How could they...]

Mm. [Her eyes narrow slightly, a mix of emotion rising up.] 'ow they 'oldin' up with all of it?

[He shrugs his shoulders softly.] They seem normal enough, but when I asked them about this town...it's obvious that it affected them...

Seems t'be the case all around. [The words are a bit passive as she's clearly starting to think about something else.]

With my sister here, I'm extra worried. [If only because Gumi is useless outside of singing.]

[The new statement gets her full attention again and there's a look akin to understanding.]

Oh, I'm fully capable of doing so. I just need a sword. [He looks to her curiously.] You haven't come across one, have you?

[She'll be silent for a moment.]

Wouldn't 'ave one I can give ya, but might know sum one who can 'elp ya out. [This was the awesome thing about making connections, you could get favors and other things before too long if you kept it up.]
