What: Thanks to some persuasion, Sollux decides to talk to the two about the little deal he made.

[After a week of fretting, after a week of "I'm going to tell them!" "I can't ever tell them." "This is the day!" "Fuck this day I want to just go back to bed.", he finally decided that he would tell them. He makes his way over to the phone and makes a call to them both. Though, it's a good minute or so before he actually speaks.]

...come to my house. I need to talk to you.

[He puts the phone on the receiver.]


...fuck! No, no no no, I shouldn't tell them!

[He smacks his hand against his forehead.]

God I'm such an idiot!

[But he had a feeling that they'd find out all the details sooner or later, he might as well be the one to tell them.]

[That tone of voice has Feferi hurrying into her coat and mittens, having decided it's too cold to wear her usual things. As soon as her boots are on and she's left a note for Grimsley explaining where she's going, she's running out the door.

About ten minutes later, Feferi knocks.]

Sollux? It's Feferi.

[Sollux didn't sound too good on the phone. She quickly bundles up in some clothes (if it mismatches, she doesn't mind), wrapped the scarf Kanaya had made her around her neck, and ran out the door. She told her lusus to stay and sleep this time. Sollux could see her lusus later.

She runs all the way to where Sollux lives.] Oh!

[Well, they were here now. If he really wanted to stay a lying chicken, he could just pretend he wasn't home. But he knew that probably wouldn't work. He opens the door and steps aside so the two could come in.]

Hi, Aradia, did you get --

[Feferi's interrupted by the door knocking. She motions for Aradia to head inside first; she'll follow. Either way, she has a bad feeling about this, but she stays silent aside from nodding a hello.]

[Aradia heads inside, waiting for the other two before venturing too far into the house. She's worried about what Sollux has to say, but she smiles anyways.

She always smiles.]

Is something wrong? You sound and you look distressed.

[He closes the door behind Aradia and walks over to a wall, leaning on it and crossing his arms.]

[Feferi's quiet, but she takes a seat on the couch, motioning for Aradia to sit next to her.]

[Aradia skips over, flopping onto the couch next to Feferi. She curiously looks over to Sollux.]

Did something bad happen?

To test my loyalty, she told me to keep my mouth shut and stay at her house for two days without leaving. Thanks to some persuasion, I am no longer going to be her little yellow-blooded slave. Though. I haven't told her about it yet.

[Feferi starts to cry, silently at first.]

[Is she allowed to hit you for being an idiot? Because she would love to do that. But she doesn't.

She doesn't say anything for a moment. It's not like she can turn back time and turn that into some Doomed offshoot that will cease to exist. That isn't in her realm currently.]

When do you plan on telling her then? You aren't doing it alone are you? Because I'm going to bop you very hard if you think you're doing that by yourself. I'm allowed to bop you for doing stupid things, remember?

There's no point in doing it by yourself. I got my psychic powers back too. I'm not going to just stupidly come with a stick or something.

[She gets up to lightly bop him on the head.] We can do this all together. I think it's about time we stopped trying to do things all by ourselves!

[Aradia just stands there, smiling. She waits to hear their thoughts on when, since she had no actual input about the matter.]
