whenever she is raging she takes all life away; (CLOSED)
WHO;
Rin Tohsaka &
Lancer.
WHAT; Dumb tsundere celebrates by herself. Dumb hound sniffs around where he doesn't belong. Then shenanigans.
WHERE; 310 Miller Street
WHEN; March 2nd
WARNINGS; Potential spoilers for Fate/Stay Night.
[ Her own birthday here had been wonderful. In fact, both of them were memorable in their own ways. It was a reminder of her imprisonment here in Mayfield, having awoken in her bed the morning of the fourth of February, and while she might wish to forget most of those days (one of a fight that left a Lancer dead, the other of pain and misery), the times after weren't all that bad. Sakura held a party for her in her first year and the second was more along her comfort levels - a small celebration with Hakuno and Minato.
Her friends.
Who would have thought she could have friends that felt that way around her? They didn't admire her for being popular or feigned interest to be associated with her. They legitimately cared for her and that affection was one she returned to them.
Sakura would be happy for her.
Yes, she most definitely would. Which is why Rin sits at home by herself, having sent everyone else out of the house through various means. A locked basement with a small cake decorated in purple icing. Even if she wasn't here, it was improper of an older sister to neglect to celebrate. The day was spent earlier leaving the girl's locker full of flowers and even if she was a drone, the look of delightful surprise was one she can remember for a while.
It was alright to let those drones walk freely for now. With Rider gone, there was less need to mercilessly slay them, and honestly, all of that work was getting to be too much for her. Humming a quiet song to herself, she leans over to blow out the candles for her with a wish to herself, leaving the only light in the basement to be a small oil lamp she crafted to give her the illusion of the home she left behind. ]
Happy birthday, Sakura.
[ Was that a sniffle? Nope, tsunderes don't cry and neither do big sisters. ]

[Lancer had a nasty habit of appearing out of nowhere at convenient (or inconvenient) times. Then again, anyone else that could turn invisible at will and go through walls probably would, too. But instead of being loud and obnoxious like he usually was, he spoke his Master's name in a quiet and even concerned tone.]
You alright?
no subject
Yes, yes. Of course I'm alright! [ Loud and insistent as always. ] Why would you think otherwise ever?

Today is Sakura's birthday. She would have been 18 years old if she stayed here... so she would have been an adult like me.

[Lancer crossed his arms, looking thoughtful for a moment or two.]
I think you got the right idea here, kid. Guess we'll just have to celebrate for her.

Is it a full moon or something tonight?

[spoilers: he wants some cake]

You just want to eat. [ At least she sees through it. ] Come on, let's do this.

...The food's just an added bonus.

Sure you aren't planning to stab me soon as I try to take the knife?
no subject
Take it then, idiot.

[But sheesh, he'll take the knife and cut her a piece of cake.]

[Have a bigger piece.]
