#1. No matter how many friends we lose during our time here, we should never cease to seek out new ones. What use is it to live, if we have no connection with others? We can't fear the pain of loss. If we do, we stop living, too.

#2. I wish to make a formal complaint about the standard of brothering in Mayfield. It's shameful and a lot of older brothers are really falling lax in their standards.

#4. How do we know where our real thoughts end and the ones they put there begin? Our real selves? What if we can't tell the difference anymore? I feel like this place is changing me into someone I don't want to be and there's nothing I can do.

Sometimes.

But sometimes it can be pleasant to. To think you know who you are, but can be proven wrong about it. It's terrifying and kind of welcome at the same time.

Only if you're proven wrong in a good way. I'm less inclined to believe I'd willingly hurt the people around me.

[She can't help shivering. Not only had Mayfield messed with her memories (though that was partially her own fault), but it had trapped her for a week inside that strange void. Reality and imagination had blended together into a strange hallucination. Even now she is trying had not to doubt that she is back in reality (or as real as this town can be).]

Your own memories should feel right. Whatever the town gives you usually feels strange or wrong.
