You sound like an old man when you say that. C'mon where's your sense of adventure! [A familiar phrase-almost always spoken before one of Rin's grand adventuring ideas came about.]

I just worry and you know, you're not supposed to worry your younger sibling.

[This warrants another hair ruffling/hug/head lock. He'll let go when he's done talking.]

I'm not trying to worry ya'-! Things just happen, and they more or less work out in the end anyways. Since when do I ever end up on the losing end? [A lot.]

Do you really want me to answer that?

...Why? Are you keeping track?

Not really, but it's been quite a number of times. Plenty of which got captured on film.

( And then, a thought hits him. ) Hey, nii-san. Are you sure you just want to put away those albums I got in the mail... ?

Tch, Stupid old man.

[Rin hesitates, thinking back to not a week ago when he went through those albums for what felt like the first time.]

...No. Maybe. It's... just kinda hard looking through them.

[exorcizes]

( Yukio glances off, sighing lightly. )

No, I never said it would be easy though. But... I think ignoring them too would be worse for us, there's a lot of good memories in those albums.

[demonizes]

[He rubs the back of his neck slowly. Yukio's mentioned these albums a couple times now already, there was probably no way he'd be able to put this off any longer.]

If you really want to look through them together... I guess I don't have much of a choice here.

[exorcizes]

You do have a choice. ( Three time is not a lot, considering the second time Rin didn't remember anything and this time, well... flowers. )

But I think it would be nice for us to look at them together.

[It seems like a lot to him because of his general avoidance of the topic. The flowers are helping Yukio's case here.]

I know, I know... [He's just probably going to end up crying like the sap he is.]

Did you ever put them away?

( Flowers are helping a lot of cases here. )

Yeah, I put them in the closet in my room.

[There's a considerable pause before Rin speaks again.]

Do you want to look at them now?

[exorcizes]

Mm, if that's what you want too.

Sure... we can.

[exorcizes]

( Up in his room, its clear how well kept he's been keeping it; though the fact he spends little time in there probably helps to some degree. Pulling the albums from the top of the closet, he moves to set them down on the bed before sitting himself. )

... I never really noticed how many pictures were taken while we were growing up.

[demonizes]

Alright.

[Rin's room is essentially the same though in a varrying degree. He barely owns anything he considers valuable, and what he does own tends to be strewn about. Far less organized than his twins room by a long shot, but hey at least he's got a spare pillow and blanket tucked in there.]

Of course there are... you remember how often that geezer had a camera on him. Haven't you gone through these since you got them?

It's still surprising. ( He sighs, taking one into his lap and opening the cover. ) No, I haven't...

[demonizes]

... [Rin takes a seat next to Yukio, picking up the other book and holding onto it. Much tighter than he realizes. He knew the moment the cover opened his guilt and sadness would rush back... but even Rin knew Yukio was right about the good memories being held within the book. ]

...Is that us as babies? [Asleep on top of a much younger, and clearly tired Shiro on the couch.]

Unless father took care of another equally chubby pair of twins, I would say so. ( A smile. ) They certainly made sure we were fed.

[demonizes]

Pff-he's had gray hair since then. [ The present tense catches in Rin's throat but he keeps moving. Scanning the other similar photo's on the page. ]

Lookit you, you're chubbier than me!

[exorcizes]

( Yukio frowns, flipping to another page and eyeing one that is clearly a picture of Rin shoveling all his disliked foods onto his own younger self's plate. )

I wonder why...

[demonizes]

[Sob. Boy did that strategy ever backfire on him.]

( He turns the page with a chuckle, tilting his head at the pictures that cover the page. )

Oh, these are from we went on vacation.
