[Hiccup's still mentally recovering from everything that happened around Christmas and the beginning of the year. But he's trying to keep his spirits up. Trying really hard. And it's a nice day so he'll just be walking home from school and trying to enjoy it.]

[Ozma had been headed home too- but she had easily gotten distracted by the disappearance of the snow, and the reappearance of flowers. She's sitting in someone's lawn (she doesn't really care who) with a nice pile of white daisies on her lap. If he should look closer, he'll see she's making daisy chains, ones that she can prop upon her head in a crown.


Which would look ridiculous on top of the poppy, but really who cares.]

[Hiccup pauses. He doesn't think he's ever seen this girl before, and he's not sure what she's doing with the flowers. So after hesitating a moment he'll just walk over and watch her from the sidewalk.]

What're you doing?

[Ozma pauses, finishing the chain and bending it into a circulet.]

I'm making Daisy chains with all the flowers that have been around. Would you like one?

[Oh wait, he remembers seeing Luna do that... a while ago...

He scratches his head.]

Uh... sure, I guess.

[fairymagic]

[Ozma lifts herself up off the ground, reaches up on her tip-toes, and drops the crown onto Hiccups head. She's still got a bunch of daisies in her hand, but suddenly she sounds... more self-conscious.]

Do you like them?

[Hiccup was about to protest actually having it put on his head, but suddenly it doesn't really matter. Actually it... he really likes wearing something she made. He ducks his head shyly.]

Yeah... I do.

...what's your name?

[She sets about placing the spare daisies in her hair, and gives him a long, kind gaze. Then she snaps out of it and replies to his question.]


Ozma. Ozma of Oz. And you would be?
