It is, of course, now that he notices just how many flowers are in the area, strange... )

_{[Homura had intended to check the stores for something she could (at least) do for Madoka, but the flowers also catch her attention, as well as a vaguely familiar face. Wasn't he... the person she had been locked inside a bowling alley with?]}

O... Okumura-san? _{[That was his name, right?]}

( He blinks at the sound of his name, turning in place and tilting his head curiously as his memory finally put a name to the familiar face. )

Ah, Akemi-san. It's been awhile.

_{[A nod.]} Mm... i-it has, but I guess a lot of things keep happening in this town. ... How have you been?

Well enough as someone can be here. ( A light chuckle. ) Some more people I know from home arrived, but for the part I've had my ups and downs.

I see, I'm glad to hear that then. ( Clearly a change of topic is in order. ) This town really seems to be into the spirit of the holiday, doesn't it?

Mm, it looks like it... the flowers are really pretty, at least.

It's certainly a nice change of pace considering recent events. ( He adjust his glasses, stepping closer to one display and peering at the flowers present. ) Maybe I should take some back for Kisa.

That sounds like a good idea... maybe I should get some for Madoka.

That's right, you and Kaname-san know one another. I haven't had much of a chance to talk with her, but her and my brothers are friends. I'm sure she'd like them.

Only question now is, what kind. There certainly is a lot of them around.

Mmhmm, Madoka is in my class back home.

_{[Looking over the flowers.....]}

The carnations are nice... they're pink like her hair. Um... I think the daisies will be okay, though. I-I'm sure she'll like anything, when I think about it.

It's probably the same with Kisa... ( He'll pause before reaching out and taking a few that have already been bundled together and glancing over slightly. ) At least they look nice, huh?

Mmhmm, they do... I-I'm sure she'll like them.

Mm, I think so too. ( And without much thought, he takes a small sniff. ) They, uh, smell nice too.

[Outside the door of 7134 Brooks is Hope. Looking a little dressed up (since he was supposed to bring Serah to meet Snow for some big surprise) and uncertain. He'd only ever heard stories of Lightning's sister and while she seemed nice, this would be his first time meeting her without the pressure of Psicom in the back of his mind.

Needless to say he'll wait for the door to open in silence after knocking.]

_{[It doesn't take Serah too long to get to the door, though she's a little curious as to who it is that's standing outside.]}

[He straightens immediately when she emerges.]

Uh-hi. We... ah, haven't met [Formerly.] but we spoke on the phone before.

I'm Hope. Friend of Snow and Light's? Remember?

I remember now, yes. It's nice to meet you in person, Hope.

It's, nice to meet you too. [He smiled weakly. ]

Snow, ah, wanted me to take you to meet him at the park for a surprise.

He did? I wonder what it could be... _{[A kind smile.]} Do you think you could lead the way, then?

Heh-I don't know, he wouldn't tell me either. [Assuming that Serah had talked to Snow at all about today.]

Yeah, it's just a few blocks... [He'll take a few steps, turning back to make sure Serah followed, ignorant to the numerous daisies growing around them. Mayfield was essentially its own world-how could he be sure this wasn't normal growth for flora here?]

Typical Snow... but I guess it wouldn't be much of a surprise if I knew. _{[She's good-natured about it, either way, as she folkows Hope to the park. The flowers catch her attention, but being even newer than Hope, they don't strike her as unusual or out of place. At the very least, they're pretty.]}

That's what he said actually. Also, that we should meet him at this statue up ahead...

[In passing he'll notice the daisies, having missed them at first due to their white color against the snow still covering the ground.]

Satomi! Hey, Satomi, open up!

[Everyone's favorite magical tsun, Mirai, is knocking on the door of her teammate's house as loudly as she can. After the talk they'd had a few nights before, she's decided to keep a closer eye on Satomi.]

_{[It's not particularly as if Satomi knows anyone else who would be violently pounding on the door, so it doesn't take long for her to open the door, Sare in her arms.]}

Mirai-chan? Is something the matter?

[burdenbearing]

[As soon as the door open, Mirai can smell the scent of flowers, just the same as in her own house. This time, however, she can't help but pause to breath it in, her expression softening significantly.]

Nothing! I was just coming to see you, that's all. I'm glad you answered.

Oh?

_{[That's a little confusing, but Satomi smiles anyway.]}

Well, it's good to see you, too, Mirai-chan! Why don't you come inside?

Oh, sure! Thanks for having me.

[If Satomi listens carefully, she might hear a soft little, "Yay! &hearts" from Mirai as she walks into the house.]

It's no problem at all. _{[Satomi knows everything If she heard it, she'll pretend she didn't]}

Would you like something to eat or drink?
