Even though she doesn't need to eat any more, Death still very much likes to. Almost as much as she likes to cook. She's already made cupcakes for roughly half the town, so naturally she's starting the day off by making heart shaped pancakes. It would be easier to shape them if she could still shape the fabric of reality.

At some point a vase full of daisies appeared on the table, but she isn't paying much attention to it yet.

For some reason the fact that she's smiling at him makes him feel a little lighter.

"I guess... there's something to be said for that." She's never really thought much on the matter. She's not sure why she is now.

And awkward moment of quiet as he's trying to understand why he has the sudden inclination to think abut the topic. Human emotions had fascinated him before, but this was different....somehow.

"I guess I never really... thought about it. Except in a general sort of way." It was definitely something that happened to, well, people. She's losing control of her appearance a bit, as a slight blush creeps in.

YES. I DON'T THINK I REALLY...UNDERSTOOD THE CONCEPT. THOUGH I MUST HAVE A LITTLE. HOPING YSABELL WOULD TAKE A FANCY TO THAT YOUNG MAN.

Death, the matchmaker.

Death giggles a bit at the thought of him matchmaking. "I was happy for Orpheus and Eurydice, I've met lots of happy couple. But that was, well, them."

WAR SEEMS TO ENJOY MARRIED LIFE.

Though that is rather hard to tell with War.

"And this... this imitation has been... nice." What is she even saying. "For whatever that's worth."

A schoolgirl. She sounds like a schoolgirl.

I MEAN. YES, YES IT HAS BEEN.

Did he say that too quickly? What was he saying that first bit for? A simple yes would have done nicely. This is getting even more confusing.

"You really mean that first bit?" Suddenly, it's very important. She's not sure what she'll do if the answers now. To something she'd never even thought about before.

And now he's wondering why he said that so quickly. And why he needs to add.

And because today is apparently the day of impulsively doing things and not being sure why, her response to that is to step over and hug him. Because that's what you do with a giant skeleton. "I'm so glad! It... means a lot."

Why? She's still not sure but it does.

And it means a lot that she thinks it means a lot. Though he's gotten a bit lost as to the reason behind that. But what do, hugs? Er... skeletal hug back?

She's just going to... hold the rather awkward position for now. Skeleton hugging. It's a thing now.

"I... just never really thought about it, before. I don't know, I've never really... I mean, I loved my family, but this is.. it's different. Good different, I think. I'm babbling."

"If I have to be confused with anyone, I'm glad it's you." She still hasn't moved. Leaning against his rib cage seems to be more comfortable than one would expect.

"That... sounds pretty good, doesn't it?" She can't help thinking that she could definitely get used to it. Get used to a lot of things.
