[ Typical of Rin Tohsaka to do something of this nature, wasn't it? There's internal conflict within her mind, which is why she chose to speak to Lancer about this directly instead of just throwing out a command spell or asking him over the phone. A rare sign of maturity. Hold onto it tightly before it escapes! With a nervous demeanor, she stands outside the door to his house with a tiny frown etched along her face, not letting up on her staring competition with the slab of wood before her. All she had to do was knock, yet she chooses not to. ]

Geez, I really don't have it in me to do this, do I? [ A defiant huff. ] Backing down from a challenge.. that's not like me.

Yeah, I think so. I spoke to Lancer and arranged everything. Well, he arranged it and all. I suppose you're just going to have to meet up with him. I don't know. Is he a gentleman to come pick you up? Maybe I should have asked..

I-I will finish preparing myself then.

[Despite all her previous preparations, the date still seems to come too soon. She still needs to get dressed and put on makeup. Hopefully, she will not overdo it.]

Meeting him at the intended location will be fine. Perhaps you should contact him and tell him that?

I could, but haven't I done enough? Geez. It isn't as though he's incapable of finding you. He's the fastest thing here.

I will trust him to find me at the intended location if he cannot find me in my house.

[Even if she still has some issues about how Tohsaka wanted to play a prank on Lancer about his birthday, she would give her life if necessary to pay back what she owes. It is only right.]

Why would I need to do that if I already have the best Servant watching over me? It seems kind of redundant for you to request I do that when I'm already well-protected, don't you think?

There are times when even Lancer will be incapacitated or cannot reach you in time.

[Now that she has gone back to serious subjets, she has finally stopped blushing.]

I know you can. But even you, Tohsaka, cannot match Heroic Spirits or stronger beings.

[To be fair, right now, she is also below a Heroic Spirit in strength. She would only match them if she could regain her runes.]

[It seems every time she and Tohsaka spoke, it degenerated into an argument like this. For some reason, Tohsaka insisted upon being stubborn and overconfident.]

I suppose I will find out during our fight. If I defeat you, Tohsaka, then we can also consider this an end to this debate.

You won't defeat me, so you're going to have to get used to this sort of retort from me, Bazett. The sooner you start to accept it, the better for everyone involved.

[ Rin is always quarreling with the people she gets along with. Eventually Bazett will adopt the attitude of the others before her or she'll continue to butt heads with Rin. People like Archer who dismiss her with their snark or people like Garviel who find no offense in anything she says are the best types to converse with her.

Anyone who's willing to acknowledge Rin's fighting with them will only be met with the non-stop teasing and bickering. ]

Fine, fine. You can protect me if you want. I'm not going to complain if someone wants to give their life for my own ha.

[answerer_sword]

[She falls silent at this. It seems Tohsaka is capable of being rational after all.]

[She goes back to blushing once she changes the subject.]

Is he not going to come get you? Figures. [ With a sigh: ] At the diner.

[answerer_sword]

[She is taking deep breaths, trying to calm herself down. She would have to make sure to not get lost while locating the diner.]

Ah..does he like red...what color eyeshadow...

[She has started fretting now, quite unaware that she still has the phone to her ear.]

S-should I wear the high heels...

How would I know what he likes or not? You could show up naked and he'd probably be just as happy.

[Just thinking about the remark makes her brain ready to shut down.]
