We never really did work out an order of succession. I've stepped in for now due to convenience of location, but I'm open to other options here.

I think we need someone with experience. Someone who has been here for a long time and knows how to lead. Or at the very least has some sort of background with leading groups like this.

Therefore, I believe I am not suitable for the task only being here for a handful of months and possibly being one of the youngest members.

So, I have taken the liberty to extend a hand out to the other resistance groups. That young boy, Luke, the one who makes the paper, submitted my article in the news. I know it could be risky but we may not have the time for caution much longer. I am hoping that if they respond we can organize a large scale meeting in a few days. As well as possibly enacting a plan the General and myself had briefly discussed.

Your maps are good, and we've got a decent idea of what happened thanks to Annie. It's just going to take a bit of time explaining to to the magic folks and technologically dumb.

I do not understand what she plans on doing except getting us out of here. That is good enough for me.

However, I believe we need to get back everything we lost...so I am suggesting we attempt a break in into the post office.

I have a bit of experience with this sort of thing, but I've never had to lead anything bigger than a squadron. There are a lot of people from home here though. Rebellion higher ups.

As long as I'm here, we can hold it here. I've read everything, but we should make additional copies and store them at other secure locations. No telling what could happen.

I agree with the sentiment of keeping them here. It has what we need but we will still need someone to lead.

In any case...no I would not know what is in these notes. This is possibly the first time I am seeing them.

What we need are some tech savvy people who could manage to break into the mainframe of this place. If we can manage to control this place then we can take the advantage. You're right about the copies though. We need this information in more hands then just two.

I am sorry to interrupt. Major General Armstrong has asked me twice now if I was willing to take her position or be her second-in-command. I will do whatever I can to help in a leadership role.

I am uncomfortable taking her position, however.

Luke tends to throw himself into danger. His help with the paper is useful but I wouldn't want to let him get himself further involved. He will try.

[Riza pauses.]

I don't believe much of her items would still be here. Does the post office retrieve items from persons who have been sent home?

Well, I hope those who are closest to him will prevent such a thing.

Her items might not be there, but ours may be. The whole point of this plan is to try and bring us back to full strength again...though if her things were there that tank would be of good use.

I never asked to be tugged. And at a time like this rocking the boat seems necessary.

I didn't even think that our items might be there.

If that is something we choose to try, we should be careful to ensure we will not be victims of the price the Mailman inflicts.

Having dealt with his prices I would think that would be the best option.

What I have in mind is staging very large frontal attacks on two other important buildings. That way we can try and divert Mayfield's own resources and attention away from the post office. We then send in those capable of stealth and silence to break in.

The downside to this plan is that there is a high risk factor of being droned.

In terms of coordination, I suspect either of the Organas would be willing to step in. They have the experience.

You know any good slicers? We've got a lot of good people from home that are good at organizing and fighting, but none of our tech people.

I'd rather keep the kids out of it if we can, but getting as many others on board as we can will be key.

Keeping the kids out is tougher than it sounds. I agree with the plan, but sometimes it's like trying to nail Jell-O to a tree.

Sometimes, they volunteer before we can stop them. It's why I try to teach defense and hiding, first.

I am assuming you have trained in stealth?

More misdirection and camouflage than outright invisibility, but it's been useful.

I was with an Intel unit for a bit. This sounds like the sort of thing we'd end up pulling.

And how do you suggest we do that?

By planning a several pronged attack.

We would stage several raids on important buildings, drawing out their resources and reinforcements. When the brunt of the attack from the town is facing these raids, we send in a small team who are capable of stealth. They will break into the post office and if they must take out the post man. If it can be avoided, find a way around him.
