Garviel is just silent. He doesn't know what to decently say about that. He feels so very much conflict between the world he occupies and the one she lives in. Between the dangers of sorcery and this product of it which seems nothing if not virtuous and loyal. There is no resolution to his quandary, none that he can see. So he simply stays silent, and tries not to be cruel once more.
