<sub>[For the most part, Homura didn't pay much attention to the fact that Valentine's was coming up. She would probably try to do something for Madoka, more than likely, in a gesture of friendship, but otherwise, she couldn't help but wish to remain cautious, especially after what had been happening lately. For now, it seemed that things had calmed down, but who was to say that would last? After the things that had happened in the past, including her death at Mirai's hands, Homura wanted to be prepared in case something happened again.

Valentines Day wasn't something that Madoka usually celebrated at 100%. She did, of course, make and buy chocolates for her family members and close friends, but the total of chocolates had never exceeded maybe five or seven. This year was going to be hugely different.

After buying the ingredients and supplies listed in the cookbook, this being one of the few times the restricted library selection was useful, Madoka began to head home... Only to pause as she passed Homura's street. She gazed up at the sign, thoughtful and hesitant with those thoughts, before proceeding to head down the street and tap on Homura's door.

Invited or not, Madoka was paying a visit.

Was that a knock at the door? Homura wasn't expecting anyone to stop by, and while she wasn't sure about the rest of her housemates, she was pretty sure none of them were home at the moment.

Heading over to the door, she was surprised to see who it was that standing outside.

"Kaname-san? I-Is something wrong?"
